Farewell

"Mmm you're so cute!" Baek kissed soojin's cheek as they watched the movie with the rest of the family. They had been dating for about a week and were still in the honeymoon stage.

"Uhg you guys are disgusting. It's almost worse than Mae and Xiu." Chanyeol pretended to throw up along with Suho and DO.

"Fuck you. I'm happy." Baek smiled. It turned out that on their first date, Baek accidentally spilled the beans about his species.

Flash back

"So what's up with you? Why haven't we met before? You have lived here for god knows how long and I can't believe we haven't seen each other or something." Soojin asked as she twirled her noodles.

"Oh I don't really leave the house." Baek laughed. He was pretty drunk after he thought he could down 10 shots with out feeling anything.

He fucking felt it.

"You don't leave the house? Then why did you come to the coffee shop that day?" She giggled noticing his lie.

"Finnnneeeee you caught me. I'm a vampire and I just like home cuz it's close to blood. Call me a savage." He rolled his eyes.

When she had to drive him home after their first date, Mae and Xiumin explained the entire thing and she seemed suspicious at first but very understanding. Realizing he wasn't going to find another like her too often, Baekhyun jumped on the chance to ask her to start dating.

"We leave tomorrow for Vatican city. Is everyone packed?" Xiumin came through the living room with his clipboard and a pen.

"I haven't even packed..." Chanyeol mumbled to Mae.

"Me neither." She whispered back.

"MAE I SWEAR-" Xiumin was getting upset already. He was on high edge to make sure this wedding went accordingly.

"Calm down. All I have to do is put it in the suitcase." She rolled her eyes and since back into the couch.

"Has everyone fed? I'm not trying to deal with y'all being hungry on the plane." Mae asked out loud.

"I still have to!" Sehun raised his hand.

"Okay tonight after your done packing." Mae pointed back and they exchanged nods.

"Soojin, will you help me go pack?" Mae stood up and stretched. Soojin nodded and the two women went upstairs. As they got in soojin pulled the big suitcase from the closet.

"So what does your dress look like?" Soojin was reveling in the fact that hopefully one day she could get married too.

"Uhm... It's white. And...... Made of fabric." Mae laughed nervously. Soojin sighed.

"Fine don't tell me but I'll see it soon! Thanks for inviting me to the wedding I'm honestly sooo excited!" Soojin hugged Mae that made her somewhat more excited that she was getting married.

However, in the back of her mind, not everyone was there.

Her mother. She wanted so bad for her mother to be there but she was gone. Long gone and there would be no hope to see her so this was just going to have to happen with out her.

And Luhan.

She missed him.

She felt a deep connection with him and was forever in debt to him for saving baekhyuns life. But there was no way he would show up even if he could. He didn't want to be there. To him, her decisions were irrational and rushed. Her life decisions were wrong in his eyes and how could she ask him to come. Did she deserve to have that audacity?

What would he think?

"I'm nervous to see her." Lorena looked out the window of the plane.
