Sky woke up from the sound of footsteps. She was scared that it might be some robbers or thieves that got in their house. She went outside her room cautiously, but what lay in front of her was her parents packing up their things. She was shocked to see her parents packing up without her being acknowledged. She cleared her throat to get their attention. Her parents stopped packing up their things when they noticed Sky being fully awake and they sat on the couch with their eyes filled with sadness with a combination of guilt. Her dad ushered her to sit on the opposite couch in front of them. "Sky,we need to talk." Her mom said. Her mom never use Sky's name unless its a serious matter. "We are moving to Texas, by we I mean me, your mom, and your little brother." Her dad said. "But w-why?" She said while stuttering. "Your dad got a promotion sweetie. He got a higher position in his company since he worked hard," Her mom said. "But since the main building of the company is at Texas,he needs to go there to work." She added. "But why do you need to leave, why is also Will leaving?" Sky asked. "Your brother is also gonna come because the promotion comes with a scholarship at Texas, I'm planning to give it to Will. With that mind of his I know he will learn a lot,and its also free you know, there's no reason to turn it down." Her dad said. "Your mom is gonna take care of Will cause he is still a kid who needs to be supervised" he added.

"Take me with you then!!" Sky shouted. "Im sorry sweetie, we cannot afford to bring you with us. We only have a little budget left because you and Will just started your school year. We can only afford 2 tickets which is for me and Will, your dad has his own ticket. We might be selfish by just saying were leaving, but we aren't sweetie and you know that. This is also for your own good." Mom said while giving Sky a sad smile. Sky wanted to cry so bad but she doesn't want to look vulnerable in front of her parents. "I understand mom, dad. If it may not bother you may I ask a question?" Sky said. "Of course sweetie" her mom replied with a sweet, sad smile. "When are you leaving?" Sky asked.

"We are leaving in 2 days." Her mom replied with a sad smile. "O-okay" Sky's voice cracked while replying. His dad being a self-conscious said "Come here princess." While opening his arms for a hug. "Its okay princess, we will contact you every month and send you gifts with letters. Forgive us this time okay.." Sky's dad said while hugging Sky. Sky can't hold her tears back anymore and she let her salty tears that's been stinging her eye for a while flow. "Its okay sweetie, we love you no matter what happens even if we get separated. We'll visit you someday,okay?" Her mom said and comforted Sky by joining the hug. Tears rolled down her mothers eye. Faint sobs can be heard in the room. Sky sniffed and wiped her eyes with her clothes.

"Does Will already know about this?" Sky asked. "Not yet" her mom and dad said. "I bet he'd be shocked" Sky said and chuckled. "I'll miss you guys" Sky said while engulfing her parents in a hug. "We'll miss you too princess." Her dad replied. "Lets finish packing later and I'll cook some bacon and eggs. Also Sky wake Will up, or he'd be late." Mom said. "Okay!" Sky said. "Also don't tell Will that we are leaving, we'll tell him the news later" her mom added.

After eating their breakfast, Will and Sky was sent to their schools with the use of their dads car. Will was dropped off the car first and Sky was the only one left inside the car with her dad. On the way to Hamilton University, Sky saw Josh walking to school. She asked her dad if Josh can ride with them, since Josh is also a part of their family(Sky's mom and dad says so) and they also study at the same school so why not.
"Hey Josh!!Come and join us" Sky invited. "Is it okay?" Josh replied back. "Of course, son" Sky's dad said. "Okay Mr.Rivaille" Josh said while opening the car door of the backseat. "Please just call me Jeff" Dad said. Sky and Josh chit-chatted until they arrived school. During their talk Josh noticed Sky's gloomy aura, he asked her what was wrong, she said she'll tell them later.
