When Bokuto spiked the ball and we scored, Bokuto ran towards me smiling holding both of his hand.
I looked at him and there was silence for a bit.
"He's asking for a high-five baka." Akaashi said from the other side.
I then high-five him back after Akaashi said that. Bokuto gave me a thumbs up.
Bokuto suddenly looked at me putting his other hand on his mouth holding his mouth.
I glared at him and asked: "What do you want?" with a calm tone.
"Nothing, it's just that you looked like a girl version of Akaashi." Bokuto said still holding his laugh.
I blushed a bit realizing that he finally payed attention to me but just for a seconds though. But those seconds are really special to me.
"Even though Akaashi is better than you." Bokuto continued.
"Well of course, I expect that he'll said that." I thought as I sigh and continue to focus on the game.
TIMESKIP
We won both of the set.
"Tch." Akaashi said then lined up at the end of the other court.
"Come on y/n line up!" Yuka shouted. I then went to line up. Then we bowed and shook hands with them.
We took a rest for a little bit then we cleaned the gym as usual.
We had a meeting before we went off.
"Welcome to the club, l/n y/n!" The captain of the girls volleyball team, Saki welcomed me.
All of them clapped hands, even the boys. I just smiled nervously.
"Now, the girls volleyball team can join matches too!" Bokuto said giving us a thumbs up then the other boys followed Bokuto's action except Akaashi who was just sitting there.
Well the girls club only have 5 members in it before I joined them. That's why they can't join in matches before this.
But, we still need more members to join us.
"Okay! That's all for today! Nice practice!" Bokuto and Saki both shouted.
All of us started to pack our things. When I was about to leave with Yuka, we suddenly heard Bokuto screamed: "What do you mean you can't walk home with me?!"
He was screaming at Akaashi and Akaashi walked towards me well maybe he just wants to get out of the gym since I'm blocking the exit. So me and Yuka gave way for him but he suddenly stopped in front of me.
He suddenly grabbed me by my wrist and started running dragging me with him.
We hid behind the gym.
"Where did they go?" Bokuto whined running outside of the gym.
He was searching for us. I look at Akaashi and blushed a little bit since he pinned me onto the wall.
"Argh! I guess I'll go home alone today sobs." Bokuto said when he gave up searching for us and walked home alone.
Yuka also went home alone. I felt sad for her since I didn't went home with her.
I look at Akaashi and Akaashi looked at me. We made eye contacts for 2 seconds until he realized what he was doing and backed away.
"I just wanted to ask..." Akaashi started.
"Hmm?"
"Do you like Bokuto?" Akaashi asked.

I dash to my room as soon as I got home. Putting my face on the pillow.
"What's wrong y/n?" My brother asked as he got into my room.
"N-nothing I'm just tired so I rushed to my bed." I lied.
My brother gave me a are-you-serious face cause' he knew that I was lying. I sometimes stutter when I lied.
" Fine, I'll trust you." My brother sighed as he went downstairs to continue cooking for dinner.
I sigh as I got up from my bed to change my clothes and went downstairs to eat dinner.
"Since you came late today, what club are you in?" My brother started.
"Volleyball." I replied coldly.
"Aww my y/n is growing~" My brother fanboy.
I roll my eyes sighing.
"Itadakimasu!" The both of us said in sync before eating our dinner.
"By the way, you want to be like dad?" My rother suddenly asked.
My dad is a national volleyball player. My dad is the one who taught me how to play volleyball. He's the ace of the team.
Why I'm a setter? Because I always toss for him when he's practicing.
"Hmm not really..." I answered.
"I hope he comes back soon." My brother said as he got up with his dishes and took my dishes too to the sink. He washed my dishes for me.
I smiled and said: "Arigato onii-chan~"
"No probs~" My brother replied humming to some of his favorite song.
I got up and went to my room, lied down on my bed looking at the ceiling.
Suddenly, the scene where Akaashi ask me if I like Bokuto or not replayed in my mind.
FLASHBACK
"Do you like Bokuto?" Akaashi asked.
I was so flustered when he asked the question. He suddenly rubbed his chin saying: "Hmm I was right."
"So what if I like him?" I asked.
"Well I knew it from the very first day you met him, it's obvious you know....Bokuto might notice it." Akaashi teased and whispered the last part.
I was flustered again but then Akaashi continued his word: "But if he didn't notice then he's just an idiot."
END OF FLASHBACK
"He finally payed attention to me." I thought as my eyelids were getting heavy and heavier and I fell asleep.
