7 hours before impact, not that anything knew or cared. A mother Dakotaraptor sits at her nest, looking over her chicks, one was Black with white feather tips, a white underbelly and had a bright blue stripe down her neck. A Triceratops herd gorges on the plant life of Hell Creek, a rich floodplain with many different types of animals, like a massive Edmontosaurus herd, lumbering around and foraging on the tower branches of the forest. The Dakotaraptor mother gets up to drink in the river running past the cave that she calls home.
4 hours until impact, everything is none the wiser, the astroid is aiming straight for the Gulf of Mexico. A massive Tyrannosaurus with reddish brown scales and red karatin on it's face stalks a Denversaurus, a decent size nodosaur. The Tyrannosaur lunges out and power walks towards the Danversaurus, grabbing it with her jaws and crushing the poor unsuspecting animal.

1 hour to impact. The Dakotaraptor mother stalks a Pachycephalosaurs, a small 5 meter long bipedal herbivore with a thick muscular tail and a dome skull. The mother lunges out and leaps onto the animal, pinning it to the ground and biting onto it's neck, the Pachycephalosaurs eventually struggles to death. 30 minutes until impact, The mother Dakotaraptor returns to feed her children, 10 minuets until impact, A sudden heat starts to fill the air, worrying the animals, the herd of Edmontosaurus start letting out worried bellows, 'Danger' their bellows seemed to say 'Danger Danger.' However, once the animals realised what was happening it was too late.
Impact, Everything in mexico gets vaporised instantly, a flash of light and clouds start covering Hell Creek, the sun is blocked out quickly, it looked like the end of the world was upon them, to an extent, they weren't wrong. 1 hour after impact and almost the entirety of Hell Creek was covered in ash, and the world was starting to cool down. 2 days after impact, most of the larger herbivores start starving to death, along with most plant life, and the larger tyrannosaurs start dieing out from the sudden change in temperature. 1 month after impact and the area has officially frozen over and the sun only shows for hours at a time. The massive Tyrannosaurus is extremely rare, only very few remain.
