Weeks after the battle of Titans, and the Dakotaraptor hasn't eaten since, she's on her last leg... starvation is setting in. The Dakotaraptor cityered softly, the ashy river was dotted with a Borealosuchus here and there, the last survivors of their kind in the Hell Creek. She chattered, her arm injury had gotten infected, and it was rapidly spreading through her body. The Dakotaraptor ran and leaped over a river onto a small island, The Island of Bone Butte, she collapsed. Exhaustion and Starvation had gotten to her, she succumbed to the Infection. She became unmoving... her starved body laid there... eerily still.
66 million years later, a group of fossil hunters are unearthing bones of a new animal in Hell Creek, South Dakota. It takes 10 years for the creature to be described, and on October 30, 2015, DePalma described the animal, naming it Dakotaraptor steini, Dakota's Plunderer, found by Walter W. Stein.
