Author's note:
Crime Pulped Book Three is short because it is set during Christmas of 1945. I wanted the reader to know my Detective hero's background, while there's some sex and violence that is used in the genre books and movies of the time...there's a more psychological aspect to the human condition that I wanted to explore...
...And also that his love for the FBI female Agent is a love/hate relationship that expresses the dark noir feel of the 1940's-era books, as well.
