Chapter 1: Hello Neighoor

It was a bright shiny day in Hellsalem lot. You yawned loudly, getting up from your bed heading to the bathroom to get ready for work.

" Another day another dollar. Well I'm off Mom. Please watch over Dad and I...."

Feeling a little hopeful, you headed down towards the lobby where you saw your next door Neighbor.

" Morning Leo! How it going?"
You smiled brightly waving to him.

" Oh, morning (Y/n), you know how it is. The usual." He smiled back getting ready for the day as well.

" Are you going to be walking or taking the subway?" You peered too close for comfort.

" Ack...! C-could you back away a little? Wherever you're heading. I know you're not use to this city yet." Leo stood up, as you straighten your back out.

" Such a gentleman, how come you don't have a girlfriend yet?"

" G-Girlfriend...!? Why would you assume I don't have one?"
You grinned mischievously grabbing his arm. His face was already deep-red.

" How long do I have to watch this crazy girl?!"

" I've never seen you bring a girl home. Any girl would be lucky to have you."
He found himself bewildered by you, the nicest mixed with somewhat of annoying personality. Still you weren't the worst person on the street.

" Ah!!! We should get going! I'm going to be late!" Dragging Leo along near down into the underground. You were out of breath once you gotten to the stairs.

" Slow down (Y/n)! You might trip on your heels!" The poor boy also had a hard time keeping up with his breath.

" I cant stress enough that I'm going to be late! You know how hard it was to get this job? It pays for me and my dad's medical expenses...."

Leo knew what was going on not because you told him, He was ordered by Libra to watch over you.

Eventually you two made it on the train, relief was on your face while Leo's was pure exhaustion.
" You okay...? Do you need to sit down? There's a seat right over there."
You pointed to the seat, looking cornered the worn out Leo.
" I could've gone myself you know? Thanks for making me feel guilty...."

" No it's fine! Really! I just need a couple of minutes...I'll stand you can sit down...." He said between gasping for air.

" Gentleman like as always." Walking towards the seat, you smiled hopelessly, wondering why? Why would he go lengths for someone he just met?

The train was going through a tunnel making the whole train fade into darkness. Leo was right next to you. Something was on his mind he kept thinking back to his boss said.

" You called me down here Klaus? What's up?"

" Yes, I did indeed. Leo, I've assigned you an important task. That I believe only you can handle."

Leo was sorta nervous given an huge responsibility, the big red headed man pulled out a file about you. All the info, where you use to live, birth day, height etc.

" Who is this girl?" His hands picked up the file. Examine the folder.

" That's (Y/n)(L/n), years ago when the Great Collapse appeared she was unfortunately apart of the disaster. At that time I believe she was only 14. My team and I saw her struggling to carry her dad. He had lost a leg doing everything in his power to stay alive for her sake. They needed each other to keep on living. Leo, your job is to protect this girl from any harm."

" I see....she's gone through a lot...may I ask why do I have to be her bodyguard?"
He looked up at his boss confused a little trying to get confirmation.
