It's been four winters since I escaped, and since then I've been in my wolf form. I've grown larger, I can brush the leaves with my ears!! I looked around my current resting spot and yawned, stretching my body I shook out my fur and laid on the grass. I twitched my ear and closed my eyes, lulling myself into a light sleep.

I woke up to someone screaming and on instinct I lifted my head. I took a deep breath and launched to my feet, jumping over the river I was sleeping above. I landed across the water and sprinted off, passing the world in a blue I ran towards the screaming. I quickly took in the scene, three men were pinning down a girl while another was taking off his pants. I growled and grabbed their attention, jumping from the trees I circled the terrified group. I lunged for the man with his pants around his ankles and as he tried to run he tripped, I landed on his back and heard it snap. I sunk my teeth into his head and pulled, ripping the item off with a sickening sound. I threw it away and turned to the other three men who ran away. My attention then went to the terrified girl, I looked into her eyes and didn't move.

"W-why haven't you killed me?!" She sobbed. My heart went out to her and I noticed she was shivering, so I walked over to her. I curled up around her and rested my head on her lap.

"Were you helping me??" She whispered, making me look up at her and twitch my tail. I smelt gun powder so I tightened my body around her, making sure she was safe right as the gun shot went off. A bullet sunk into my shoulder and I yelped, jumping away from the terrified girl to make sure she wouldn't get hit. I backed away from her, watching a blonde man run over to her. My attention turned to the woman holding the gun preparing to fire, it was the red head from when I escaped. I looked around and noticed they were trying to corner me. I rested my paw on my other one where my bracelet sat, suddenly turning I sprinted away. Another bullet tore into my hip but I ignored the searing pain, I could sense that the one in my shoulder was still in there so I needed to work fast. I kept running till I reached my den, limping inside I shifted and groaned. I extended my claws and dug into my shoulder to remove the bullet, a scream tearing from my throat due to the pain. I grit my teeth and threw the bullet away, shifting back I collapsed and panted heavily. It's been four winters since I had been human so that had drained my energy. I was about to sleep when I suddenly saw some people I never thought I would see again. And they had guns pointed at my head.
