Chloe's Pov.
We finally made it to the ice-cream shop. Embry parked his truck and we both hopped out but before I could even get my door open, he ran around and opened the door for me.
"You know I could have opened the door myself. It's not like I am going to blow it up" I joked
"Ya you could but I am a nice person and I want to help a pretty girl like yourself" he said making me blush. I bet my face looked like a tomato because of of him.
"Well then let's go and get ice- cream now because I am hungary" I said trying to make him not noitce that he made me blush. But, I failed because he let out a small laugh before putting his hand out for me to take. I accepted his hand. He was shocked by this and laced his fingers through my. i don't know why but I feel like my heart is whole when I am with him. It's a feeling I have never gotten seen Fred. I don't really let boy's into my life because of what happened between me and Fred. We were together for about 1 year but we broke up because he cheated on me with my old best friend Pippa. Yup, they got together behind my back. He cheated on me for 7 months of being together. The thing that made it worse was that when I caught them. They were making out behind the school. i went looking for them and turned the concer BOOM! There they were hard core making out.
I still remember Fred's words over in my head.
"I don't want you, he said to me and then the biggest shock of my life was next. when I turned to walk away Pippa said she could not lose me because she needed me through this hard time coming up for her. All I remember thinking is you are having a hard time, I just was cheated on by my boyfriend with my best friend.
Then she let those words that I never want to here " I am pregnant, and it is Fred's" I lost it there. i still remember clear as day of what I said to her.
"You want me to help you through being pregaent with my ex-boyfriend's baby because you my best friend or should I say ex- best friend helped him cheat on me. What makes it worse is you never told me to now but even then i would have never found out if I never caught you. I am happy this happened now before I got even more of a heart break than I do now." I said and ran away from them.
I ran to the bathroom and sat on the floor crying in-till Ava, Kim, Sasha and Ashley. They asked me what was wrong and I told them everything from Fred to Pippa being pregnant.
Weeks passed I forgot about Pippa and Fred with the help of Ava, Kim, Sasha and Ashley. Pippa and Fred dropped out of school because they had a baby and they had to find a way to earn some money because there family's cut off all ties they had with them when they found out about everything that happened. Has for me I never trusted a guy seen and even then it took me some time to trust Ava, Kim, Sasha and Ashley. But I feel different with Embry. Could I finally trust a guy enough to let him in? I asked myself.
Finally Embry got my attention back.
"Earth to Chloe, he said what kind of ice-cream do you want"
"What.oh sorry and cookie dough please" I said has I reached into my pocket pull out my wallet but Embry beat me to it and payed.
"Here' I said has I passed him some money paying him back for the ice-cream
"No, kept it, it's my treat" he said smiling at me
"That's very kind f you but I will have to ask you to take this money please" I begged him
"How about this I payed this time, you pay tomorrow deal" he said sticking his and out for me to shake.
" Who said we were going to do this tomorrow again" I asked teasing hi9m
"Me, so what do you say Chloe" he asked while getting our ice-creams.
"Deal" I said shaking his hand
"Do you want to go and sit down" he ask
"Sure"
We found a booth at the back and started to eat our ice-cream while making small talk.
"I know what we should do" I said
"What"
"Play 20 questions, it can help us get to know each other better" I said
"OK, Me first" he said "Ummmmmmm, what's your favorite colour"
"Blue, u"
"Same"
"Favorite sport"
"Football"
"Soccer"
"Favorite animal" he asked
"Easy Wol" I said
"Really me too"

After we finally left ed the ice-cream shop, he drove me back to my house.
"Hey thanks, I said to him that was really fun"
"Your welcome, we on for tomorrow the same thing"
"Yup, if that's OK with you" I said
"Ya, it is perfect, I will meet you at the front of the school again if that's OK"
"Yup, see you tomorrow" I said has I kissed his cheek and walked into the house thinks maybe I can let any other guy in and not get heart broken.
