Ch.27

Bendy POV

It was my daughters graduation. Liam graduated 2 years ago and he came from college to witness her graduation. I felt so proud of her. Once they called her name we all clapped and saw a picture of her as a little girl in the background. I smiled remembering all the times we spent with her as a baby up to now. Same thing with Liam. His graduation showed a picture of him and Cup when he was a baby. I smiled to myself. I felt Cup's hand grasp mine catching my attention. I looked at him tilting my head.

"Are you ok?" He asked quietly, gently wiping away my unknown tears. I didn't even notice that I was crying. I laughed lightly nodding while I grabbed his hand on my cheek. Cup smiled giving me a kiss on the cheek. We both returned our focus to the stage where the rest of the kids were getting their diplomas and what not. Afterwards we waited for Jamie outside. She spotted us and came running with open arms. I embraced her tightly seeing that shine in her eyes. She then proceeded to give Cup and Liam a hug to. I took notice that I was smaller then my own kids. Damn height. We all congratulated her for a job well done and took some pictures. We planned to have a dinner party for her after, so all of our family and friends were waiting back at home. We drove back home feeling eager to surprise her. We let her in the house first and once she opened that door everyone in there yelled congratulations. Her face beamed with happiness and she proceeded to thank everyone.

"Wow they grew up fast." My brother Boris said laughing a bit.

"Yeah they did. Wish it could've lasted longer." I remarked laughing a bit. Boris nodded in agreement. He looked over at Cup then at me again. He made that one face I knew all to well.

"Cup is getting older isn't he..?" He asked. I looked at Cup seeing a bit of a difference. His face was a bit more aged and his hair was a grayish yellow. I sighed looking back at my bro.

"Yes I know. He isn't immortal of course." I said sadly. I was much to focused on my kids to even notice that Cup was aging while I remained the same. Boris walked off to my mom while I stayed in my spot. I felt tears peek out of my eyes as my mind wandered. How is this going to be? I'm immortal and Cup isn't. How will I be able to handle the fact he is old while I'm still young? What will people think when they see us together..? What if he...dies...? I felt a hand on my shoulder snapping me out of it. I looked seeing it was Cup. He had worry in his eyes.

"Why are you upset? Today was amazing. Shouldn't you be happy?" He asked wiping my tears. I nodded leaning into his touch.

"Yeah, guess I was thinking to much."

"We'll talk about it later. For now lets enjoy the time we have with our family and friends." Cup said smiling that same smile that warmed my heart the first time I met him. I smiled back. He's right. I should cherish the time I have left with everyone I love. I know that horrible day will come but it's still years away. I should just be happy he's here now. Cup took my hand as we walked over to where our daughter was and began talking with my mama.

I'm so happy. I got everything anyone could ever want. I am one lucky demon.

Even though I'm a demon my kids sure know how to make me feel old. They all left the house and had kids and homes of their own now. It was so shocking to me. We went from having them being rocked to sleep to where they we're doing that with their own kids. My son married a beautiful girl named Clair. During the wedding I remembered me and Cup's marriage. How we had such an amazing time and becoming bound. I watched my son and new daughter laugh with each other as they shoved cake into each other's mouth and giving each other a loving kiss. I smiled seeing how happy my son was. A few weeks later we all decided to eat out. Once we finished Clair said she had something for us. We looked at her curiously. She went to the back of the car and came back with something behind her back. She pulled out a board with something stappled to the top. We got closer seeing it said 'Guess what?' and in the left corner in the bag was a positive pregnancy test. We gasped looking at each other. I screamed in excitement hugging her tightly. I rubbed her tummy a bit smiling at her.

"Oh my goodness congratulations!!" I exclaimed as she smiled brightly. Cup hugged Liam telling him good job. I knew what he meant but I was to happy to point it out.

We went to her baby shower and saw she was now 5 months pregnant. I smiled seeing I was gonna be a grandpa. But hey let's be honest, Cuphead is the real grandpa. We we're going to find out the gender of the baby which she kept secret even from Liam. We waited till she cut the cake with the color dyed either blue for boy, or pink for girl. She took out the slice and saw it had one layer of blue and another pink! She was having twins! I smiled brightly giving her a big hug. Liam had tears as he kissed his wife and her large tummy holding their children. Cup nudged me slightly with a big grin. I laughed giving him a slight punch to the shoulder. Our daughter congratulated Liam and Clair on the kids.

I glanced at Cup seeing he had a worried look on his face and I knew what that was. Jamie was very beautiful and he feared she would soon marry too. She already told us she had a boyfriend which shocked Cup. But he was a nice man, a gentleman. His name was Felix. They had been dating for at least 4 years now. I watched as my daughter whispered something to Clair who nodded.

"Okay can I get everyone's attention please." Clair said standing up. Everyone looked at her.

"Since everyone is here Jamie has an announcement to make." She said giving her the stage. Jamie was nervous pulling Felix next to her. They gave each other reassuring smiles.

"Okay, we had kept this a secret for at least a week. Now that everyone is gathered together this would be the best time to tell the truth. Felix and I are engaged!" She exclaimed the last part jumping. Cup's face turned pale making me laugh hard. Everyone else cheered and congratulated them while I could barely stand. After I calmed down I gave Jamie a hug saying I was proud. I gave Felix a hug to welcoming him to the family. He nervously smiled as Cup approached. His face looked angry, but it turned to a reassuring smile.

"As much as I hate the fact my little girl is all grown up, I'm glad she's with someone like you. Take care of her for me, son." Cuphead said giving him a handshake. Jamie and I sighed in relief. Cup might be older but he still knows how to kick someone's ass.

"Congrats sweetheart." Cup said giving Jamie a kiss on the cheek. She smiled.

"Thanks daddy." She said hugging him tightly. I smiled at what I saw. Both my kids, so grown up..
