A DARK-HAIRED GIRL SAT AT THE RED BOOTH IN POPS. She had her laptop resting on the table. Her fingers were painted a deep crimson as she typed away on her laptop. A beanie lay on her head and pushed her dark hair back slightly. Her hair went just past her shoulders and lay on her black shirt. She had a strawberry milkshake and a bowl of cherries to the left of her. Every now and then, her crimson fingernails would go and grab a cherry. She would plop it in her mouth and eat it.

A black-haired boy slowly walked towards the girl. She glanced up at the boy and continued typing away.

"Deep dear sister." The black-haired boy in a beanie started. She didn't reply. She just kept typing. He grabbed a cherry and plopped it in his mouth after sitting across from her.

"Braveheart. Don't ignore me." The boy continued looking at the girl. She gently laid her hands on the laptop and looked up at the boy.

"Hello brother. What do you want?" She questioned staring at her brother. Her eyes were a piercing brown with a hint of gold.

"Just wondering how are you feeling? I mean, there was a murder after all." He said copying his sister's movements. The girl chuckled lightly going back to typing without even looking at the keyboard or screen.

"Dear brother. Don't you realise that the murder of some boy doesn't affect me?" Braveheart said glancing at the screen before looking back at her brother. "He was stupid anyway." She shrugged now looking right back at her screen. Typing again. She had just put a full stop when her brother took the laptop from her. He glanced at the text and then turned it back towards her.

"You'll give yourself nightmares." Jughead said before sliding out of the booth and heading towards the door. He pushed it open and exited, the bell signaling someone left.

Braveheart pushed the heavy wood door and stepped into the apartment. A black haired girl was sat at the table in the middle of the room. She had a book rested on the table. It was called "The Gold Blooded". She closed it gently and turned to face Braveheart.

"You okay?" She questioned pushing the chair backwards. She got out of it and grabbed the book. She strolled to the bookshelf and slid the book into its place. Braveheart walked towards one of the three doors in the room.

"I'm fine. Need some sleep. School tomorrow. I'm just excited." Braveheart said sarcasm obvious in her voice. The girl turned to face her and a small smile appeared.

"Tell me about it," She smiled. Her blue eyes shining in the light. Braveheart smiled and walked into her room jumping on her bed. "Don't bloody start writing! Sleep!" The girl shouted through the door.

"Whatever, Esmee!" Braveheart sighed collapsing onto the bed. She had previously put her laptop on the desk on the other side of the room. She sniffed her covers and they smelt like Lavander. She assumed Esmee had changed them earlier. She reminded herself to thank her tomorrow.

Braveheart strolled through the hallway. The first day of school and it was already pretty crap. She noticed the blonde Cooper girl at the end of the corridor. She was talking to an unfamiliar raven-haired girl. Braveheart carried on down the corridor. She was trying to be discreet in walking by but of course, the cheery blonde Cooper girl noticed her.

Braveheart turned around once she knew the Cooper girl has spotted her.

"What's up, Betty?" Braveheart asked trying to be as cheery as possible. The Cooper girl had her hair tied up in her iconic ponytail. She was wearing a floral shirt with the first two buttons undone and jeans. The raven-haired girl was wearing a plaid dress and a pearl necklace. Her hair was short and went to her shoulders. She looked beautiful.
