Braveheart sighed and looked in the full length mirror. She looked herself up and down. She never liked dresses but she had to wear it. Esmee was practically forcing her. She didn't have her beanie on either and Braveheart didn't like it. She looked herself up and down. She was wearing a red dress. It had spaghetti straps with lace decals on the top half. It had a heart neckline and a flowy skirt. Along with the dress, she was wearing red high heels and a necklace hung around her neck. She looked at herself one more time before exiting her room. She smiled and looked at her friend. She was also wearing a dress. Hers was a blue sleeveless dress with a scoop necklace. It had a tan belt and the skirt was high at the front but low at the back. The bottom half was made of dark blue sheer material covering dark blue fabric. It was beautiful.
"You look amazing, Esmee!" Braveheart smiled. Esmee pushes her hands through her hair.
"Not as good as you. You look amazing in a dress. I mean, you should take your beanie more often. You look so much better." Esmee complimented. Braveheart feigned hurt.
"Are you saying I'm ugly with my beanie on?" Braveheart asked putting her hand on her heart over dramatically. Esmee rolled her eyes.
"Whatever you say, Braveheart." Esmee shrugged.

Braveheart and Esmee strolled into the dance. Their arms were linked as they strolled in. They both looked gorgeous and fearless. Reggie, who was standing by the punch, noticed the girls and began to make his way over.
"Wow. You two are looking fine tonight." He says in his usual cocky tone. Esmee rolled her eyes and sighed. She unlinked her arm with Braveheart and headed away from Reggie, leaving Braveheart to deal with him.
"Don't start Reggie. I swear to god." Braveheart sighed beginning to walk away. Reggie followed right behind her.
"I was only saying you were looking good. I mean, you look fearless." Reggie complimented. Braveheart sighed.
"What the hell do you want?" Braveheart questioned crossing her arms over her chest. Reggie grew a cocky grin to replace his small frown.
"I want you to dance with me." Reggie shrugged. Braveheart sighed.
"Go on." Braveheart said quickly.
"Braveheart, would you do me the honour of dancing with me?" Reggie asked.
"Let's just dance." Braveheart took Reggie's hand. She dragged him towards the dance floor. He put his hands on her hips and she wrapped her arms around his neck. They were pretty close. She was uncomfortable but also comfortable. She found it weird to be this close but it was kind of comforting. She thought he was hot but in no way was she attracted to him. She didn't want to date him or anything. Reggie leaned closer.
"You have no idea how gorgeous you look," He complimented staring into her eyes. She didn't look up at him. She was looking at everyone but him. She hated dancing so it was awkward. She didn't want to add awkward eye contact. He moved one hand from her waist as they began to sway along to the music. He gently made her look at him. "Why isn't Braveheart looking at Mantle the Magnificent?" He asked gently. Braveheart rolled her eyes, being forced to look at him.
"Because. Unlike all the other girls in this school, I don't have a massive crush on you," Braveheart shrugged as he gently placed his hand back on her hips. He smiled at her. She rolled her eyes. "Stop trying to get me to fall for you. I will never fall for you." Braveheart announced firmly. He still held a cocky grin.
"You keep telling yourself that." He smiled. She rolled her eyes as they began to sway along the music.
"Why are you risking your position as a 'jock' to talk to the loner freak?" She asked keeping eye contact with him. He shrugged.
