What to do?

Hi! It's been a while. How's things?

So, as you know, my name is Ryvah. So this isn't actually my birth name, most could probably tell. My birth name bring back some unpleasant memories, hence me using another name. I brought this up with some of my family, and they weren't very happy to say the least.

I mean, I can understand where they come from because it was the name my parents gave me. But unfortunately, that's been ruined by some other family members.

I had a good talk with my family recently about changing my surname to include that of my mothers' side. I have my father's surname. I no longer have any contact with my father either. Probably for the best.

Anyway, so I came to the conclusion of adding my mothers maiden name to my fathers surname IN my name. That works for them. However, when I asked "What about merging 'Ryvah' and my birth name together to make a neutral kinda name?" I'm going to do it anyway, but they weren't happy even with that.

So, these days I still go by Ryvah, but my legal name will be Ryvalli very soon. I am beyond excited for this change. Can't wait.

Also, I had my 18th this year. Was a great celebration. Guess that makes me old now lol
