It was what jungkook called his happy place. His head on tae's laps as tae would play healing old songs on his phone while caressing jungkook's hair. This was the time jungkook was able to lose himself. Lose who he was. Not think that he was an idol, an artist, a celebrity. He was able to forget all the pressures in him and just lay down, closing his eyes, thinking about absolutely nothing. He was just a normal person so much in love with his hyung, Taehyung.
But it wasn't the same today. He was there. His love, Taehyung was right here by him, caressing his hair the same way he used to do since forever, with some old songs playing in the background of their room. But his mind wasn't empty today, neither did his heart seemed fulfilled. It was strange because Tae had been away to visit his family for long and they were together finally. He had been wanting to see him, take him in his arms and travel with him. He had missed his warmth, his voice and face. They were filming bon voyage and a trip without tae for 3 days had made him feel kind of empty. He had been waiting for this and Tae was right next to him now. But why was Park Jimin occupying his mind?
Tae looked down at Jungkook's starry eyes staring at the ceiling while his head rested on tae's lap. He felt quite uncomfortable with that gaze of jungkook's.
"Kookie, are you okay?", he asked running his fingers through jungkook's hair.
Jungkook got startled at Tae's voice. He wasn't listening to him. He didn't say anything.
"Baby, is everything okay? You look upset." Tae tried asking again.
Jungkook's eyes wavered. He didn't know why but he felt guilt as he heard tae's voice.
"No hyung. I am okay. I just-", Jungkook stuttered as he was speaking. He was feeling guilt built up in his stomach and couldn't complete his sentence.
Jungkook suddenly stood up from the bed they were in, and tae stood up immediately as soon as jungkook did, confused and worried.
"Baby-" tae's words were cut off by jungkook's strong, sudden hug. He hugged tae strongly and started leaving very quiet sobs. Tae hugged him back stroking his hair behind.
"Baby, what happ-"
"Don't ask me hyung..please don't...i just missed you so much" jungkook said as his sobs were slightly getting louder.
Tae smiled as he said, "aww baby, are you that happy that I am here?"
Jungkook wasn't letting go of the hug neither was tae.
"Yes hyung, please stay with me, please"
"Yes I am here kook", Taehyung said as he kissed Jungkook's cheeks and pulled him back to the hug.
Jungkook sobbed and nodded quietly in Taehyung's arms, closing his eyes and letting all his tears flow as the guilt was eating him up. All he was thinking since the past day was Jimin and him kissing last night.
