<the night before>
Bangtan were all gathered around to have dinner that night. Jungkook was quiet the whole time. It had been 3 days since he hadn't had any contact with tae. They could call and text but tae was having a hard time and was with his family after long, so he didn't want to disturb the precious short time tae had with his family. However, missing tae and being able to do nothing about it was eating him up. He ate very less than usual and wasn't talking at all.
All of the members were able to notice jungkook's sadness. But they weren't able to say anything to him because they knew if they talked about tae right now, jungkook would burst out any moment. They were trying to liven up the atmosphere by joking around but jungkook wasn't having any of it.
The dinner ended and jungkook was still looking upset. Jimin had been very worried about jungkook ever since he had been hanging his head low and not talking. He wanted to do something to cheer him up.
"Hyungs, you can go to the hotel. Me and jungkook will be back after catching a drink", Jimin said as all of them were about to leave the restaurant.
The members figured out instantly what Jimin was upto and they knew what Jungkook needed now was a drink to cover up his sadness. They allowed Jungkook and Jimin to go drink alone with an exception that they had to come home before 12.
Jungkook didn't say anything. He hadn't even agreed to go drink with Jimin but he did want to have some drinks and forget about missing tae for a while.
Both of them went to the nearest pub from the restaurant. They walked up to the bar and ordered 2 glasses of strong alcohol. Jungkook was surprised because Jimin wasn't much of a drinker and plus, strong alcohol were always a "No" for Jimin.
"Hyung, why are you-"
Jungkook was cut off by Jimin. "It's okay kook-ah. Having it sometimes is okay. Here you go" Jimin said as he handed the glass over to Jungkook.
Jungkook didn't say much but he was sure Jimin was doing this for him. He wanted himself to cheer up and not worry his hyungs but he just couldn't. It was one of the days he just wanted to be sad.
Both of them didn't speak for a while as they gulped down the glass of alcohol. Jungkook was feeling better now as the alcohol was doing its work. Little did he realize that Jimin was completely drunk from just one glass of the strong alcohol.
