Rolling my eyes, I headed to the kitchen. " Yeah yeah laugh it off, why don't you."

Apparently, it was a protocol to scare the shit out of the chosen ones, which was two in total as it's very rare to find one. The chosen one, isn't chosen by the Moon god instead it's the house that makes the decision of who stumbles upon it. And in my case it happened to be me.
Now the chosen one, is a person human or not, that is close to dying. And they have a mission that they are forced to accept or otherwise the forest wont let you out. In a span of 3 month in the new dimension the person is to be trained. Fighting, diving, speed and killing.
They aren't allowed to know why they are training until they go back to their world, and after the person is finished with his or her training, they are thrown back to their world where two countdowns happen.
One for their mission and one for their death. After all why would they be kept alive.
"So tell me, Matilda. What abou-"
"Your mate??"
"Well... I was gonna say my wolf. But that works too I guess." Looking at the awkward look she had on. I felt my heart clench at that word, mate, the mate that was suppose to take care of me, the mate that was suppose to make me forget, the mate I was suppose to grow old with, have pups with, raise them with, the same mate that was suppose to save me.
Instead I got a mate that rejected me, tortured me, scarred my body and broke me when I was already a mended glass. A mate who didn't believe me when I was telling the truth, a mate that was set on ruining my life because of something that I am not.
"Uhh, well you see Clem. He will still feel the mate bond, however he won't be able to find you which will drive his wolf wild. So, take it as a some sort of revenge while you're training." But I don't want to drive his wolf wild, I want to drive King wild. I look down to her eyes and said.
"I don't want anything to happen to Astro, he isn't the one at fault."
"Don't worry I can get you two to communicate to explain the situation, but only once. It's too dangerous." She had this stern look in her eyes, I'm not a child, Lady-Child.

It's been a couple of days since she left, and also a couple of days since Astro started annoying me hourly.
'How about, instead of complaining you get your ass out of this office and start looking for her, you know our mate.'
'Astro.. I already said before. She. Is. Not. MY. Mate! And will never be.' Snarling I blocked the mind-link and pulled the strands of my hair. I will not be like him, I will not.

"THERE IS NOTHING HERE," Screamed King's Beta, turning towards the warrior who gave out the information. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT WE DO TO WOLVES WHO GUVE OUT WRONG INFORMATION" The warrior stood his ground, or tried. Inside he wanted to run for the hills, The beta stormed towards him but suddenly stopped and stepped aside.
In his place stood King, immediately every warrior in the woods bowed their head in submission and respect for their King.
"Tell me.. Worrier, What's your name?" The wolves stood in shock, never ever hearing his voice before, it sent chills down their spins, and goosebumps all over their bodies.
"Andrew sir!" The warrior gave him self an imaginary pat on the back for not stuttering.
"Where did you last smell the scent?" The beta asked as King returned back to his mute self, he saw the warrior point towards the opening between two trees, " It was faint beta, but I caught it."
King walked towards the opening and immediately took a deep breath, Astro immediately took over King's body as soon as he caught his mate smell. Suddenly the ground shook as Clementine appeared from behind him.
"Hey Astro."

"Hey Astro."
He immediately turned my body around as he heard her voice, looking at her face I felt my heart clench with hope, what no! I don't want her.
"Mate!" Astro exclaimed happily as he ran towards her, picking her up off the ground and twirling her around. I felt her smooth skin as my tattooed arm came in contact with her bare waist. I sighed in content as I felt her sparks going through my body like fireworks.
"Astro," She sighed, " C-can your Alpha hear us?" I felt my self twitch as she called me alpha instead of my name, well the closest to my name King.
" If you don't want, I'll block him for you." Whipped asshole, I saw her nod her head her hair flowing around with the wind.
