I woke up in my inn bed. That's strange. I don't remember walking home. My memories came back to me and I shot out of bed. My head was pounding with a major headache.

I groaned and ran out of bed. I quickly packed all of my stuff and got my gold coins. I am not going to be their worker. They can do it them selves.

That reminds me, I need to carry on the demon slayer legacy. If I don't, no one will kill the demons. But if I do they will seek them out and make them their little worker.

I grab the last of my things and run down the stairs of the inn. I set a couple of coins for the nights I was there and pull up my hood. I walk outside and feel snow fall on my snow. I wipe it off and run to the exit of the city.

I walk to the stables and grab my horse,Mittens. I thank the man and give him his respectful coin. I hop on my horse and start to ride to the small town of Oakwood.

Time skip

I'm about half way there and I stop. I take my horse around a big boulder and take off my hoodie and my long sleeve shirt.
I reach into my bag and get out my regular shirt. I skip it over my head and my necklace begins to glow.

Oh no. I wince and hide it in my shirt. I leap onto my horse and we start on the trail again. My horse is fast so now she is running through the forest. She skids to a stop as a snake slithers onto the path.

I don't have time for this. I get off and grab my non demon killing sword. I pick it up and throw it into the ditch beside the trail. I groan and look around to see my horse gone. I turn and see her running away with all of my stuff.

"Mittens!" I yell. I feel a hand around my mouth and my pushed against this persons chest. Damon is now in front of me, there is some girl behind him in a short red dress that was skin tight. She had long brown hair and blood red eyes.

She had a smirk etched at her face and long red nails saying,she meant business. The guy lets me go and Damon grabs a hold of my shoulders. "W-What!?" I try and stay strong and not act weak like last night.

"What's your choice?" He asked me. The lady behind him made him move and she walked up to me. She bent over,since she was wearing heels that made her very high. She looked me in the eyes.

"Now, little Damon isn't going to be mean to you, so the boss sent me here to make sure you get your job done." She growled and grabbed my chin and digging her nails into it. There were definitely going to be little crescent moons.

"You will work for us or I will snap your pretty little head off RIGHT NOW" she said and I nodded. I pushed me,making me fall to the ground. I used my shoulder to prop myself up as I rubbed my chin.

"Don't run away again" Damon hissed. I nodded and slowly stood up.
Vincent starts to walk. "Let's go!" He growls and I follow him.

"Your first objective is a demon who came to earth to get stronger and kill the devil. He isn't a threat,just annoying" Damon informs me.
"I'm Roxanne by the way. I'm Vincent's fiancé so touch him and I'll bite your head off" Roxanne smiled and I nodded.

Suddenly crying filled my ears. I pushed away from their little group, my necklace was off the charts. I looked around,still hearing screams. I ran into the forest. Ignoring Damon telling me to stop.

Soo I saw it. A demon in his demon form killing a family as a little girl watched. I grabbed my sword and struck the demon. He soon vanished and I looked around. The little girl was crying and holding her dead mother.

Damon was standing next to me and smiled "we'll take the little girl" he said and I growled. "No"
"What did you just say" Vincent asked and I ran to the little girl and grabbed her hand,she was scared and shaking. "Touch her and I will murder you" I growled pointing my sword at the three of them.

They groaned and I crouched down. "What is your name?" I asked her
"H-h-Holly"
