Dear Diary,

I didn't know why but I felt like I akways wanted to be by Kevin's side. You know how you meet someone by coincidence and they just become a very important character in your life? It's fun and all... But I can't help but think that all this will come to an end. But this is only the beginning, there's more to come.

------------------

Second day of the Journalism contest, also the day where they'll announce the winners. I'm pretty confident to say that Kevin will win. I mean like, he's amazing and-- Oh, he knows.

Me and Kevin aren't going to join any contests today. We just wanted to chill out, so we did. We played Cards Against Humanity and got caught by the teachers, but the teachers didn't mind. Kevin was dying to use the "Pacman's Guzzling Cum" card but couldn't because the teachers were looking at us.

Now, Kevin and I are exploring the whole school.

"Whoa, Alice look. The room is empty." Kevin said.

"Seems like a legit room." I said.

"Let's mess around with it!" He said.

He locked the door and we were both inside.

"Seems so creepy being here..." I said.

"You're with me so it's okay." He said.

We were looking around and we saw a vandalism on the wall, it said "KEVLICE".

"Kevlice?" I asked.

"Sounds like... A couple name." He said.

"Well, it seems like a unique name anyway." I said.

"Do you think there're a chance for... Us?" He asked.

"Us? Hahaha, we haven't even" I said, fangirl style.

I took a look outside the window.

"Kevin, is that... Our school coaster?" I asked him.

He looked at the window as well, he didn't say a word. He held my hand and we ran. We were at the third floor of the school, we were very tired.

"WAIT FOR US!!!" We shouted.

The coaster stopped and we were able to get in. When we sat on our chairs, we looked at each other and just laughed. I didn't notice that we were still holding each other's hands. I didn't mind, and I think he didn't mind as well. Since our school is an exclusive school, while waiting for the awarding ceremony, the took us to the mall using our school coaster.

"Sir, could you leave us behind? We'll just catch up. We promise." Kevin said.

"Okay, just be there in time." Sir Joshua said.

"Kevin?" I asked.

He held my hand and smiled at me.

"I'm taking you somewhere special." He said.

He took me to this space-like area. The roof was designed with stars, almost looked like they're real. Kevin set up a tent and we went inside it. We kept on laughing.

"Seems like it's real, right?" He smiled.

"Haha, yeah!" I said.

We both closed our eyes for a while... Then when we opened them, Kevin spoke.

"Look up. What do you see?" He asked.

"Millions and millions of stars." I said.

"And what does that mean?" He asked.

"It might mean that maybe, just maybe, there might be other planets with life just like earth." I said.

He looked at my eyes and I looked into his.

"Alice..." He said.

"Alice you idiot, it means someone stole our tent." He said.

We both looked at each other and laughed. Hahaha, Kevin always knew how to make me laugh... But I never learned how to make him laugh. I only just met him a couple of days ago...

"So, shall we go back to the UCC for the awarding ceremony?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go. Stuff's getting real cheesy here." I said.

Kevin and I walked our way back to the school. It was only a few blocks but we were able to get there on time.

We weren't able to hear the winners for the Elementary Level, but we were in time for our part.

"And now for the Editorial Contest winners..." The Judge said.

"Third place, Oriol Pwerty!" The judge said.

"Second place, Xander Tompson!" The judge said.

"For the grand champion..." The judge said.

I looked at Kevin, I was confident on him winning. I had my hopes up. I wished that in all of the 209 students that competed in the Editorial contest, Kevin would win.

"Yuko Takashima!" The judge said.

I looked at Kevin, I could see that he got a little bit sad. It made me sad too.

"No matter what happens, Kevin will always be the best editorial writer I ever seen." I said.

He smiled at me.

"Thanks, Alice." He said.

When the feature contest results were shown, I didn't win. But it was okay, I was able to meet him. That was all I ever needed.
