As the day dawned, a yawn could be heard from inside of the apartment. Our Protagonist had just woken up from his engaging dream about eating billions upon billions of plates of Ramen... He barely managed to pull himself away from the bed that had kept him, hostage, donning his trademark attire. A plain red shirt under his Void-Black Robe, he wore black trousers and attached his kunai pouch to his left leg. He made his way downstairs and grabbed an apple and a banana on his way out.
Crunch. X bit on the apple as he thought about the past few months and what had happened. The leaf had taken action and decided to investigate who had slain the fourth Hokage's daughter, and Sasuke had become heartbroken over her death. X felt that this had triggered his second tomoe of the Sharingan already and today was the day of the Chuunin exams. He'd need it for today as it was the first day of the Chuunin exams.
As he was walking towards the exam building, he thought to himself about something that was pressing him recently. Now that I'm a completely new conscious... Why do I call myself X? What does it mean and why X?
'... X can be anything... in mathematical terms its a variable that could be anything, the independent variable, that's why you chose X. I like the name, Xerxes. Yes,' Xerxes thought to himself before he found himself in front of the building 'Time to get this show on the road'
A few hours later, Xerxes was in his chair waiting for this dumb test to end, he closed his eyes but he could sense through chakra waves all the people who were either cheating or had the knowledge to complete the paper. 'This is funny' He thought as he looked at Sasuke using his Sharingan discretely... aah this is going to take a while...
After a while, they were all sat as if they had finished. Therefore, the invigilator called for all papers to hand in their papers before standing imposingly in front of the students...
"Now I have one question! IF you answer it correctly, then you have instantly passed this section of the exam. IF you answer incorrectly then... you can never take the Chuunin exam again. You can exit now and take your chances next year." He stated in front of the crowd of students, I simply smirked as I (Xerxes) knew that he was bluffing from the beginning...
Walking out of the Chuunin exam, I reflected on my match with those two... the Kiba kid and Neji. Especially that Neji... He irked me somehow with his bullshit on people needing to accept their fate and stay in their place. So I taught him a bloody lesson that my fate was... and always will be in my own two palms.
I always used to say this to myself during Kurama's torturous training, I no longer believe in a benevolent and fair God, If he exists then he's a sadistic and bored idiot who enjoys suffering. Forget believing in him, I can only believe in my abilities, my own two hands and the metaphorical God within me. I am the only one capable of doing things for me!
As I lay back in my bed that day, I re-opened the interface to check my level which had developed since the last time...

Later on, I ended up going to get some more ramen, I thought to myself how good it would be if I could absorb this restaurant into my forces.
"Well, time to go and see those two, I wonder how they'll react..." I muttered to myself as I paid for my dishes and walked out.
...
Shikamaru had just come back from a stressful day and flopped onto his bed...
"Naruto is back, I can't imagine what he has gone through ever since that happened. I just hope the guy can come to terms with his circumstances..." he mutters to himself with a sigh.
A foot suddenly steps out from the shadows in the corner of his room...
"The thing is, I think I have come to terms with myself, old friend," Xerxes said as he emerged from the shadows.
Shikamaru was dumbfounded before Xerxes explained to him about his circumstances and his intentions towards the village before he asked...
"Shikamaru, will you help me destroy Konoha, and create a new civilisation from its ashes?"
....
