Um what did he just say?! I really wasn't expecting that, I think it might be the drink talking.
"Y/n, do you think I could take you on a date one day?"
"Harry, I really don't want to be rude but can we have this conversation in the morning because I think this might be the alcohol talking."
"Please y/n, give this a chance"
This is a lot to take in, does harry actually want to date me? I have no idea what to think.
"Harry I'll come over in the morning and we can talk when your sober" I say as I bring him in for a hug. The hug seemed to last a lifetime, it only broke because the boys had finally come back. I walk out of Harry's room and said bye to everyone then got an Uber to my apartment.
Once I had finally arrived home I dove into my bed, I'm tired and confused. Does harry actually want to be with me? If we did become a thing what would JJ think? Would it ruin our friendship if we broke up? I drifted to sleep with my thoughts whirling around my head.
*bleep bleep*
I woke to the sound of my phone going off.
Harry: Hey, I'm sorry about last night, I shouldn't have put that pressure on you. Could you meet me today so we can talk? X
You: yeah sure, do you want to come to my apartment at 1? X
Harry: thank you so much, I'll see you then x

I scrolled through my socials for a until it was 11 and finally got out of bed to get ready for the day. I wore a gorgeous polka dot cropped long sleeved top with black shorts and a little bit of makeup. By time I was ready it was 12:35 so I decided to drive down to my local Starbucks to get a drink.
At 1pm
*knock knock*
That must be harry, well shit this is going to be awkward. I open the door to see a still hungover harry and welcomed in. I sat down on my sofa and he sat next to me.
"Y/n, I do really want to take you out on a date but I understand if you don't feel the same way, I..." I cut him off.
"Harry, I would love to go out with you but what if it ruins our friendship? What if JJ doesn't like his 2 best friends being together?" I stutter.
"Y/n I really like you and honestly don't think JJ will mind, just please give this a chance and if it doesn't work out then we can go back to being friends, just keep it light and breezy." He said with a smile.
"Okay, where do you want to go?"
"well we could just go to to see that new jumanji?" He offered.
"Omg yeah I've been dying to go and see that, when are the next showings"
"There's one at 3? And we could go to Nando's after?"
"Yeah defiantly!" I said

I can't believe she said yes, how could someone like me possibly get s girl as amazing as her to go on a date? We had around 2 and a half hours to fill before the movie started so instead of going to Nando's after the movie we went just before. The whole time we just talked, it felt so normal, it felt so right. Through the whole movie she had her head nuzzled into my shoulder, it was the perfect first date.

The date went amazingly. Once the movie had finished we went back to my apartment, and sat and talked for ages. It was one of those talks that goes on forever and I loved every bit of it. We talked about anything and everything, family, jobs, childhood. I wished that it could last forever but I was exhausted so I snuggled into harry and we both fell asleep on the sofa.
