(A/N: I am so sorry you guys! I was grounded for a week so I couldn't  update or write any chapters. Please forgive me! Anyhow it's Story Time!

"Without power, can one become a hero? No, I should think not."

Those words were the final nail on the coffin. With those simple words, my dream was crushed. My idol then turned away from me with those final words.

"It's not wrong to dream. However...you need to be realistic, kid."

~Time Skip~

I was mauling over the words that my idol told me. So even my idol since childhood has told me to give up, huh? I tried so hard. To ignore reality. I felt tears streaming down my face. Once they stated they can't stop.

My attention was directed to the sound of the explosion that I heard down the street. I gasped recognizing the sound. I turned to see Kacchan in the same hold as that monster had me.

It's all my fault.

My heart stopped when Kacchan turned and looked at me. Our gazes looked. He was scared and pleading for help. and before I knew it my feet moved before I could think.

I rushed to Kacchan's aid. Not even thinking of the consequences. I ignored the shouts of bystanders and heroes shouting at me to stop and come back. My only thought was to help Kacchan.

"Deku?" Kacchan shouted as I ran and tried to get the slime off of him.

"Sorry! My legs just started moving! Why? I dunno!"

"Why?!"

There were a number of reasons that were going through my head. But at that moment as I looked into his eyes there was only one thing that I could say to him.

"You...you looked like you needed saving."

His eyes widened but then they started to roll to the back of his head, more of the slime was trying to push through.

"Just a little bit more time! Stop getting in my way!"

The monster made a wack at me but was stopped as I felt the familiar large hands grab me and Kacchan.

"The message I left you with...I should practice what I preach! A PRO SHOULD ALWAYS BE READY TO RISK HIS LIFE!" I see him reel back his arm and shouted at the top of his lungs.

"DETROIT SMASH!"

I fainted a little after this so I couldn't exactly remember much of what happened after.

All I remember is me being scolded by the heroes and Kacchan receiving all the praise. Everything passed by in a blur that I soon found myself on my way home.

When I went inside I found my Mom cooking dinner. When she noticed my presence she stopped and tears began to roll down her soft plump cheeks.

She ran to me and embraced me into her warm hug.

"Oh, Izuku! I saw the news! I was so scared! Please don't do something like that again!"

I returned the hug and squeezed. I hate that I made her worry and I'm reminded again of how powerless I was. Nothing would have changed if I interfered or not.

"Don't worry it won't happen again." I murmured. I then released her put on the best smile I could muster.

"You need help cooking? I don't have any homework!"

She gave me a watery smile in return, "Oh, my baby... yes I would love that."

So I helped my mom in the kitchen and enjoyed eating and talking to her about my day. I took out a few parts like what Kacchan said and meeting All Might. After dinner, I spent the rest of the night in my room. Where I am now in a huge dilemma.
