I can hear Princeton calling my name from downstairs to go eat breakfast. All I can hear is, "Anora! Anora! Hurry there's breakfast! You don't want to be late for school!" I hurry to get ready and then head downstairs to go eat. My mom made her usual pancakes. Sometimes I think that is the only breakfast platter she knows how to make because she has never switched things up.
I eat my one pacake and head out the door to walk to school, but before I left my mom pulled me away so that she could talk to me..."Anora, honey, you're brother has been telling me that the kids at school aren't treating you the best," my mother was said. I just looked down at the ground with no response. She continues, "You cannot let them get to you, you are the most gorgeous girl I know, no doubt about it"
"Mom, it is your job to lie and compliment me to make me feel better," I said to her. i ignored her and continued to walk out the door.
Princeton caught up to me, but he was having to run reall fast. I think walking to school is the only good part of the day. My brother and I have a pretty good relationship. We have a lot in common, i mean, except for the fact that he's not adopted and I am.
He's matured a lot since he left middle school and came into high school. Since then, we have become a lot closer. Well I mean at times we do have that love-hate relationship, but that's a typical sibling thing.
During school we don't hang out with each other at all, because I feel that if people knew we lived under the same roof he would get tortured in some kind of way. That is just how some people can be, and it's not easy for either of us, but we know how to get through things with one another.
We have to go in a hurry to our first class because we were actually running late.
