"Mr McDuck?" The small duck asked her idol. He sat in a big chair in his office. Looking up tiredly to Webby who stood in the doorway.
"Y-yes Webby?" Scrooge replied. The young ducks eyes lit up as she walked farther into the room.
"Um I was just wondering....what's your most prized possession?" She asked taking out a notepad.
"Well las" Scrooge began.
"This is" he said pulling out a dime on a chain from his shirt. Webby stood amazed.
"Yes,I was right!" She exclaimed writing something in her book.
"Thank you Mr McDuck!" She said hugging the old duck and running off. Scrooge shook his head as he turned around in his chair.
He stood up,and walked to the wall and pulled up a blind to reveal a large chart. He looked over it getting angry at the sight.
His hands forming fists,in one swift movement he spun and knocked all the things from his desk. His breath was short and quick.
He stood for a moment before falling to his knees. Tears streaming down his face. "Why'd you do it Scrooge?" He asked himself.
The chart on the wall behind him.
Said one phrase.
Had one picture.
"Della search expense"
Through the roof.
"What's your most prized possession?" Webby's voice echoed in his mind.
The old duck stood to his feet and shook his head. Pulling the blind back down and placing the things back on his desk.
Sitting back down in his chair he looked at a small stack of coins on his desk. Picking some of them up and fiddling with them in his hands.
"I'm sorry las" he said wiping his tears away.
