"you have no time to hang out with me anymore and it really hurts, minkyung"
"i'm sorry, drama club is taking up nearly every bit of my week. I can't help it eunbi. it's also getting closer and closer to the play which means more rehearsals, more practicing, and even less time. i'm sorry."
"you don't even text me! in school your always on your phone though! you're probably texting hanbin-"
"oh my goodness! what are you talking about? hanbin has a girlfriend!"
we had been sitting at the lunch room tables as she had suddenly brought up this. all of her words felt like stabs through my skin.
"look! i'm talking with you right now! i'm sorry that i don't have enough time to hang out with you, but can we at least cherish moments like this?"
"thanks for putting drama club above your best friend. i appreciate it"
and she got up to move to a different table.
"hey! where's your friend?" i heard someone's voice calling me.
i looked to my left where i see a girl, who i recognized was part of the drama club and in the play.
"well uh, she got picked up early" i had lied.
"do you wanna sit with us?" she asked.
and with my perspective on it, it was a perfect opportunity to talk and hang out with them more.
this was one of my biggest regrets.
"sure!"
i'm so sorry eunbi.
