Luke was bored, he had been bored from the moment he dropped Tim off at his other fathers on Boxing Day. Without Tim around and no Ashton to keep him company, he had nobody to annoy. He'd already baked enough muffins for himself and his parents, cleaned his apartment and watched an entire series on Netflix.
He was bored and was just waiting for Ashton to knock on his door.
im bored.
what time will you be over?
im needy, sorry.
Over their two and a half weeks of being offical Luke had become even more needy than ever, letting their official status show his true self. He knew Ashton wouldn't mind though, they'd technically been together for a few months before that. It had been a slow process getting them here, and now that they were Luke wasn't going to let his second guessing get in the way anymore.
Upon hearing a knock on his door, Luke leaped up from his out and over to the door in record time. Not even taking a moment to breath, he swing the door open and pulled his boyfriend into a deathly strong hug.
"Hey, Luke. Missed you too," Ashton laughed, pulling Luke even closer.
"I'm so glad you're back, I've been lonely all week," Luke mumbled, pulling away to plant a sweet kiss to Ashtons lips. "Calum is away and Tim is with Mike. I had nobody to cuddle."
"Glad I'm back then," Ashton smiled, slipping into the apartment and toeing off his shoes. "I could do with a cuddle, we've been driving all day and I'm over listening to mum tell me how excited she is to meet you."
"I'm excited to meet her, you know. Meet the woman who created such a beauty," Luke said, pulling Ashton towards his couch where he already had hot tea and muffins waiting - as per usual. "What time are we going for lunch tomorrow?"
"At one, I was thinking that place near the college?" Ashton wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, pressing light kissed to his cheek and jaw. "Now, enough of that. I really missed you, you know?"
"Did you now?" Luke laughed at his boyfriends complete disregard to the topic of lunch with his mother and insistent demand for his attention. It didn't take much for Luke to give in and kiss Ashton back, long and hard, to show him how much he too had missed the boy.
"Mhm," Ashton hummed between kisses. "A lot, you're not easy to be away from."
"Same goes for you, which is why you're not leaving for the rest of the week," Luke smiled up at Ashton who just smiled fondly. In that particular moment Luke forgot all about his custody trial coming up and the pile of work he knew would be on his desk that following Monday as he stared at Ashton and his golden hazel eyes.
Luke let his eyes roam over Ashtons face, to the short sleeved patterned button up covering his golden torso and his nice fitting black jeans. He let himself look over all of Ashton, every part of the boy that seemed to have a golden glow to it.
Luke didn't think he'd ever seen anything so beautiful.
"What're you staring at?"
"You, I just think you're pretty," Luke smiled at his boyfriend.
"Lies, you're the pretty one here," Ashton smiled back, bringing their faces close together once again. "Why don't you let me show you how pretty I think you are?"
-
"You sure you want to do this? You don't have to," Ashton turned to his boyfriend who was standing in front of the mirror.
