Harper's POV
I rolled over on my left side as I heard the ringer on my phone signing someone was calling me, I picked up my phone and answered it.
" Hello" I said trying to sound mostly awake
" Hey harp what are you doing Tomrrow " a happy Mia sung through the phone Tomrrow.
" Nothin I'm still able to go to the fair " I said annoyed.
" Ok good I'll cya around bye " she said as she hit the button.
Trust me ive known Mia since birth and I love her I just wanted to sleep in for once. School starts next week and im really upset about it.
I slowly sat up and rolled to my side, staring out to my backyard with my soccer field, with the lines I painted on last week, and my shed I built when I was 9 my mom helped me build it before she got into a carcrash dieing two weeks later......
I threw on some sweatpants a sweatshirt and walked downstairs to my little brother,Mason trying to reach my trophy on my shelf.
" No Bubba no" I said to him as I picked him up and bounced him up and down.
Hes only 2 by the way.. Forgot to mention that oops. I put him back in his playpen and walked over to my dad's office and knocked
" Hey dad!" I said throwing my hair into a messy bun.
" Good morning sweetheart" he said not looking up from his laptop.
" Well I'll be in the shed " I said running outside and around back to my shed. Turning the power on and walking in. I tied a headband on around my head. Grabbed my headphones and went outside to stretch. My arms in the air as my soccer sweatshirt stretched with my arms . I grabbed my ball and started taking shots .
Suddenly someone grabbed me from behind and pulled out a earbud
" hey Dweeb" the person whispered.
" Max your a actual Retard " I said as I pushed him away from me
" Harper your still playing soccer ? " he said kinda sarcastically.
Then Tyler came running around the corner and saw max bothering me .
" bro c'mon leave harp alone " Tyler said staring at me . They started running away and Tyler just smiled at me . It confused me but ignored it .
It hit me , that I was the new soccer captain and I have a lot of planning to do. It was supposed to rain but I ignored it and kept practicing.
The drizzle became a pour and I didn't care . I went inside the shed and grabbed a towel and body slammed my bed I put in there . I turned on my little tv and was watching Netflix all day , til their was a knock at my shed .
" Honey I gotta go to work please go inside and watch Mason . " my dad said softly
" ok dad love you " I said turning off all the power and running inside to baby Mason watching some baby show that I'll never understand .

" Dude you know she doesn't date , she loves soccer too much " Max said Sitting at my desk staring back at me.
" I know , but I like her , a lot . I've never felt this way " I said kinda upset .
" Madison likes you , maybe date her and make Harper Jealous. " max said kinda proud of himself
" DUDE TRUE !" I said texting Madison, not really I was texting Harper asking her if I could come over .
I've liked Harper since the beginning of summer , she doesn't date after what her ex did to her . He cheated on her with someone from the girls enemies soccer team , it was 2 years ago. It was the day I got in my first fight because me and Harper are kinda close . It screwed Harper up a lot , and she refuses to talk about it at all and ignored all the comments and concerns from other people .

" it's a no go bro , going over to harps house cya later " I said sneaking out my window so my little sister wouldn't snitch on me to my parents . She never let's me do nothing I'm serious.
I rode My bike the whole way to harps....
