Wednesday , tonight is boys vs girls for soccer . I've been pumped for this ever since Harper became captain over the summer . The day I got the call that Mackenzie , their old captain was leaving was the best day of my life , she cheated on me with my cousin . Me and cousin are good cause he didn't know , but me and Mackenzie hated each other after that . And during games she'd purposely trip my guys and I was beyond mad at her . She was taking it out of my team now . When I learned Harper was captain it was even better cause we have the same number , and I like her ... a lot .
I threw on my jersey and shorts and my warmups. And when I pulled into the soccer field parking lot I put my socks, shin guards and cleats on . I saw Harper sitting on the bench reading positions and pulling her hair up and throwing on a headband .
" princessss" I said walking over to her as she hid her board .
" yes ty ?" She said
" are you mad at me or sum " I said
" no, just on the field we can't be friends , u saw how u and Mackenzie were " she said sadly
" how about this, you win you go to my house, I win we go to your house " I said with a smile.
"Deal" she said. Her team showed up and she went to warm up and go over plays...

Harper's POV

Their was 30 seconds left in the last half of the game. We were tied 2-2. Riley ran the whole way up and scored and Lindsey shot from mid- field. And Tyler scored both their goals. Riley passed up to Mia and Mia ran up field to the left corner. She went to cross with 10 seconds. I turned back and Riley started yelling at me. I saw the ball and I did a bicycle and the ball went right in the Net as the final whistle was blown.
My whole team came over to me screaming and lifted me up.
"Harper Harper" they screamed and I was laughing, I made eye contact with Tyler, he smiled and lipped "you and me, movies at my house tonight " I shook my head and agreed.
" BAE YOU DID IT" Mia screamed and I laughed go over to the bench and changing shoes. I did about a 5 minute talk with my team and let them have the rest of our week and 1 1/2 off. I ran over to tyler.
" good job harp" he said smiling and we walked to his car. I jumped in and buckled up. And we drove to his house.
" Your lucky my family isn't home tonight " he said as he unlocked the front door. His house was beautiful
" are you cold" Tyler asked me heading up the stairs.
" Yeah kinda" I shrugged
" ok wait there" he said running into I'm guessing his room.
I looked at their pictures they were like the perfect family... Dad... Sister...... Mom, I frowned until he ran downstairs and flipped on his face.
He started laughing and stood up. He threw his soccer sweatshirt at me and I put it on still laughing at him.
He picked me up and took me over to the coach and turned on Netflix as he layed me next to him.
" What movie" he said looking at me.
" To all the boys I loved before " I said smiling. He turned it on and grabbed a blanket for us. I kept thinking about the kiss we had the night before. Idk what to think with it. And slowly I was closing my eyes when I heard the front door started being unlocked .
" crap " Tyler said , he threw me under him and I was completely dead . He searched for my hand and grabbed it and whispered in my ear " princess be quiet " he said as his dad started to speak .
" Tyler ! I have great news , I bumped into that girl .. maybe Emily at the store and she asked if you'd be interested in going out with her , and I told her yes " his dad said happily
" Dad no ! I like another girl and I've liked her alone summer . She was supposed to come over after soccer but I knew you and mom would be home !" Tyler shouted as he kinda grabbed my hand tighter . I traced his back with my finger as him and his dad continued to Argue . When I was tracing his back I felt him calm down and relax .
" dad please just leave me alone " Tyler said
" who's under you ?" His dad said walking over to me .
" NO ON-" Tyler was cut off by being thrown off the couch and before his dad could see my face I jumped the couch and sprinted out the door running faster then I ever have before. His dad just slammed the door and I sprinted the whole way home. With tears forming I forgot I had Tyler's sweatshirt on. I ran into my shed and slammed it shut. I called Mia to come over. When Mia got there I was balling my eyes out and told her everything.
She spent the night with me and the next day we went for a walk. And she didn't know where Tyler was, and we walked by and I saw him and Emily making out on the front step. I started to cry again and tyler looked up.
I threw his sweatshirt in a pile of mud and walked away with Mia following behind me. That's last time me and tyler talked til school.
