The fallen warrior

Piper

The 1st nome was huge. There was beautiful hieroglyphics everywhere. I went to touch a picture but Carter tackled me. "What are you thinking. Touching one of those will turn your brain to mush. I mean Sadi touched it and now look at Her!!"he yelled. Sadie punched him and just kept walking. When we finally went to the end of the hall I saw the chief lector. He hugged Sadie Carter Walt and Zia. Amos led us to the Chief Lector's chambers and we introduced our selfs and our powers to each other. I made Carter slap himself and Sadie fell out of her seat through laughter. Which made us all laugh. (Oh come on Carter it was funny). Everyone else did their thing. Finally a person ran in to tell us about setne's location Leo punched in the coordinates into the gps and off we flew. The closer it got the more monsters there were. I started to shoot food from my horn of plenty. At this rate i'm pretty sure my horn of plenty will soon be a horn of empty. Leo kept switching from water to air. Soon as we were there we saw a group of demons big enough to fit in Olympus. They were easy to kill but there were so many of them. This would take forever. We were doomed.

Jason

I wanted to run away from the army if demons we were about to fight. The monsters had chainsaw heads and everyday tools. I flew off of the ship and destroyed a line of demons with lightning while Carter jumped off of the ship. I thought he would die until he grew into a hawk headed warrior and landed on a bunch o demons. Piper used her charmspeak on demons causing them to fight with us and kill themselves. Percy ran around with a hurricane destroying everything in his path. Hazel was summoning cursed jewels and hitting the demons with them. Annabeth sliced through them with a drakon bone dagger. We might actually make it out of here alive.

Hazel

We were half way through with the army and things were going in our favor. No one was really tired because we all had an adrenaline rush from the battle. I saw Frank turn into a bear and tear through a circle of demons with one swipe. He had gotten better at using his gift. He could do it with less pain. Suddenly a beam of orange light flash in front of me and disintegrate a demon and realized Leo shot it from his Archimedes sphere he was getting good at aiming that thing.

Leo

I was having a blast vaporizing demons. So much fun that I didn't see two corkscrew demons run at me. I grabbed my hammer and set it on fire. I whacked the first one off of my ship and it and it turned to sand. The other one charged and I smoothly side stepped and it and saw it fall to the ground. The ground had at least an new inch in sand. I saw some flying two headed things and shot a lazer through them there went more sand. I thought.

Frank

I swear there was another layer of sand as we finished I saw Percy swipe through the last demon. His hurricane fell and he still looked like he was just training in the I walked to the others and stepped on a piece of bark. I had seen this kind of bark before. I realized it was a staff like Sadie's. I picked it up and ran to tell the others. I saw that they were all aboard the Argo II and just turned into an eagle and flew up there to show them the staff Percy poured water on his head and his wounds healed. Sadie was mending to Carter and Piper's wounds. We met in the mesh hall all looking tired from the battle. We decided to go in and look for Setne in the morning while Percy Leo and hazel stood guard. Then we went to our rooms.

Percy

I wasn't tired at all I poured a bottle of water on me and felt myself heal. I offered to stand guard while the others slept. So in the end Hazel, Leo, and I watched over the ship while the others slept. We stayed up half the night when Carter, Zia, and Piper came to take over. I went to sleep and had a normal demigod dream. Setne was in the underworlds both Greek and Egyptian. We were happy until his 2 followers used there last breaths to cast the fire and destroy spell on the building. I saw Nico shadow travel us out of there. But Carter was the last one and before Nico could come back and the building collapsed onto him. Then I woke up.

I couldn't believe Carter would die. but it was in the prophecy. I just didn't want it to be Carter. When I ate breakfast Annabeth asked me if there was something wrong and I said no. We went to our rooms and got ready. We parked the Argo II on land and went in to the building.

Carter

I had Zia take the Ribbons of Hathor and some sturdy rope to bound the people but it wasn't that easy. Setne had guards around the room and Zia returned saying there were too many people for her to do anything. I cursed In Egyptian. I then decided to take the magicians and demigods in to distract the guards while Zia ran in to bind the people. Frank would restrict one of the guards as a python. We went in and Piper used her charmspeak to make everyone fall asleep. Frank did his cool shape shifting thing. We had everyone tied up and were about to get Sara Jakobi when Kowi woke up and screamed which woke everyone up. Then they broke there bonds frank still had his person. There were 4 (5 but that one was being held by frank ) people total making it three versus one. This was going to be easy. I took Sarah with Hazel and Leo. Hazel attacked from behind me the left Leo the right. When everyone was unconscious we walked over to Stene who was in the ribbons of Hathor. We all pitched in to kill him soon he was in the hall with dad. As we turned to leave we heard two faint whispers. Everyone was dead but above Sara and Kowi's bodies the glyph for Fire and destroy burned. The building began to rumble and burn and I knew what I had to do I grew into my hawk warrior for the last time and held the roof while Nico shadow traveled everyone out of there Sadie tried to talk me out of this but I refused. Then she and Zia were whisked way leaving me alone. When I couldn't hold it any longer I collapsed and didn't even try to run. I knew I would die and then the building collapsed on me. I felt my bones breaking. I only saw smoke. Then I heard a scream and suddenly it was black. No more smoke. No more pain.

Zia

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" I screamed. The building collapsed. With Carter in it.

Sadie

"Carter "I yelled. The building had collapsed still on fire with Carter in it and I knew if we didn't save him that he would die. The building was suddenly doused in water and I saw that Percy put out the flames. Everyone ran around the rubble looking for him. Suddenly Nico shouted over here and to my dismay I saw the eye of Horus glow brightly then die to nothing. I was too late. Carter was dead.

Third person

The eye of Horus sputtered and died as Sadie Kane fell to her knees while everyone sobbed and dug up the body of Carter Kane. Sadie walked over to se her older brother in rubble his face black with ash. His eyes closed never to see again. Everyone scrambled to look for a pulse or heart beat but found neither. "It should have been me. I should have stopped him. I saw it happen I could have saved him. What have I done?" Sadie wailed. Walt walked over to her and tried to comfort her but Sadie was beside herself in grief. Then the truth hit everyone like a smack in the face. Nico felt a slight ringing in his ears which confirmed what everyone feared Carter Kane Pharaoh of Egypt was dead. Piper tried to charmspeak him into waking up but he just lay there. Zia sat down and cradled his head in her lap. Carter was in charge of the quest despite it being a Greek prophecy, so no one knew what to do. Finally, Percy and everyone decided that it was time to go. It was dinner time at Brooklyn house and Sadie decided to IM Brooklyn house. "Oh fleecy do me a solid show me Bast at Brooklyn house. Bast sat at the head of the table. When she saw Carter next to Sadie she assumed he was sleeping until she heard the prophecy and Sadie told her about the building. Leo said she could create a portal to let them see the body and Bast swiped a hand through the mist. Next to Sadie, a square portal landed on the ship. When everyone was through they went to the room with his body and cried when they saw that Carter was really dead. "I failed you my kitten. I am so sorry. I shall protect Sadie for you." Bast sobbed. Then snapped her fingers and Carter's body was dressed in traditional jewelry, a crook and flail in each hand. And a traditional outfit for the pharaoh. Bast summoned a portal to Brooklyn house and took the inmates back. The eleven of the prophecy and Carter's body went to camp half blood. When the eleven returned everyone cheered until they saw the sad faces. They knew something went wrong. Leo didn't smile. Sadie was sobbing into Walt who had a sad far away look in his eyes. Zia's eyes were red from crying. Frank Hazel Jason Piper Percy Annabeth and Nico all showed signs of sudden death. A girl from the Aphrodite cabin yelled "Where's Carter?" Percy spoke up "Carter is dead. He sacrificed himself to save everyone else. When the roof of a flaming building caved in he held it up with his hawk warrior so we could escape. The building collapsed on him. His body is in the Argo II." Percy choked out. Clearly shaken by his friend's sudden death. Everyone was quiet. Shocked by the news.
