Chapter 26

Ross's POV
Dani and I were walking through the park together. I smiled as I watched her squeal everytime she saw a squirrel, chipmunk, or bird.

I might be young and didn't spend the first two years of her life with her, but I'm so happy I got to be apart of her life. She's such a sweet little girl and guilt has been spreading body, knowing I abandoned her, whole hurting Laura in the process.

"Hi," I heard an unfamiliar voice say behind me. I turned around too a stranger looking at me.

She had dark, red hair, brown eyes, and seemed to be around my age. She was wearing a white summer dress with white flats and her hair was curled.

"Uh, hi?" I said confused.

"I'm Chrissy, and you are" She paused, checking me out. "Cute!"

"And also married!" I responded with the same amount of perkiness as she did, although, you could tell it was obviously fake.

"Married? But you look so young!" She took a step closer to me.

"Well," I grabbed Dani's hand. "Were married because I love her and we have a child together."

She looked at Dani with a distugusted look on her face.

"Why whould such a handsome and strong man like you be tied down when you can have much more fun with me?" Chrissy took another step towards me and placed her arm on my shoulder.

"I said no." I shoved her hand off of me, picked up Dani, and quickly walked to my car.

Laura's POV
"And you said you weren't pregnant!" Raini laughed as she stared at the stick.

"Oh shut up!" I giggled.

"Soo, are you happy?"

"Of course I am. I love kids, but I don't know how Ross is gonna react to it." I sighed.

"He'll love it Laura! I think he's finally coming to his senses." Raini assured me.

"I don't know, maybe. Anyway, what should I make for dinner?" I walked into the kitchen, followed by Raini.

"How about... baby back ribs?" Raini joked.

"That actually sounds really good!" I laughed.

"Then baby back ribs it is. With a side of baby carrots!" Raini laughed and we started to make ribs when Ross walked in with Dani passed out in hos arms.

"Hey Laura, hey Raini!" Ross came over and pecked my lips.

"Hey Rossy!" I smiled.

"Rossy?" Ross laughed.

"Don't judge me, It's a cute nickname!" I told him.

"I'm gonna go put Miss Dani here in her crib, I'll be down in a minute." Ross told us and walked upstairs.

"Awe Dani is so adorable!" Raini exclaimed.

"I know, she's such a sweetheart too!" I smiled.

"So her birthdays next week?" Raini asked.

"Yep, June 1st!" I smiled.

"Oooo, 3 days before the last day of school!" Raini sighed. "Ew school..."

"I happen to like school, although my mom made me leave school early cause of marriage..."

"I miss you being in school! It's not fun without my best friend! How are you guys gonna graduate then?" Raini asked.

"I have enough credits to graduate early. And Ross well his parents are loaded. I'm pretty sure they just bribed the principal or something." I told her.

"Is that even legal?" Raini asked.

I shrugged. "Probably not, I don't kn-"

"UHHHH LAURA!" I heard Ross yell from the bathroom.

"Yeah?" I quickly walked over to him.

"Um, what's this?" He pointed to something on the sink.

"Well," Great, I forgot to put the pregnancy test away... "Suprize..."
