It was finally the end of the day and I was at my locker putting my stuff back into my back pack. I swung it over my shoulder. I took my jacket off of the hook and closed swung my locker closed while I was walking away, but I was stopped. My jacket was stuck in my locker door.

I put my combo in and of course my locker is jammed. I pulled on my jacket. But it wouldn't budge until I pulled so hard it ripped and I fell onto the ground. Fun.

I threw the ripped off part of the jacket into the trash while the other half hung out of my locker.

Then I went to detention.

It was in the basement in and old classroom that smelled disgusting.

"ohhh it's a girl!" they all said. I didn't even pay attention or look to see who it was. I just sat down.

There were pencils and balls of paper flying around and a few hit me. I ignored it though.

All the guys started to write gross things on the white board and rip all of the posters off of the walls.

"Guys he's coming!" one of the guys whisper yelled and they all sat down into their desks and opened any random text book. I was sitting there playing with my fingers when someone picked me up and stood me up a few feet away and then handed me an expo marker. Then he sat down in my seat! I looked at the marker confused and then the detention supervisor walked in.

"Whoa, what happened in he-" he started but then stopped and looked at me.

"Anna did you do this? Did she do it?" all of the guys just shrugs and kept their eyes on their text book. Then I realized that they made it look like I did it by taking all the seats so I was standing ad by giving me the marker.

"I swear I didn't do it! It was them!" I said and pointed to the boys.

"What we would never do that!" one of them names Jared said and my eyes widened in disbelief. I clenched my jaw angrily.

"Anna you have detention for the rest of the week and all of next week. Pleas sit down now"

"But there are no more seats"

"Then sit on the floor"

I sat on the floor and sighed waiting for the next hour and a half of my life to get over with.

Detention finally ended and I ran out as fast as I could. I was outside the building and I instantly put my hands on my back pocket and found them empty.

I must have looked pretty stupid patting my but.

I forgot my phone at home and there are no after school busses so I have to walk. Again.

I was walking down a back road when the next thing I know I'm soaked in dirty water.

"FUCK YOU!" I yelled to the car and giving them the finger, honestly not caring if they saw or not.

I thought stuff like that only happened in movies. Well I guess not.

"Fucking rain water" I mumbled to myself as I kept walking.

I shiver in the cool march night breeze as I walk down the road in my mix matched converse, damp musky smelling cloths, un-brushed hair and smudged mascara. And not to mention my shirt was inside out. I was having the worst day of my life.

I was about a block or two away from my road when I heard sirens behind me and I looked back only to watch blinding asking lights and ear piercing sounds to go flying by.

I shrugged it off, until the multiple police cars and ambulance turned down my road. And I took off in a sprint.

The backs of my ankles were blistering from my mix matched converse, my breathing thick and heavy and my lungs hurt from breathing so heavy. There were beads of sweat governing my face and my legs felt as if they were going to give out at any second.

I dissent care though. I pushed through it and kept running until my house was in view.

Surrounded with caution tape and flashing lights everywhere. Police officers scattered across the front lawn and throughout the house.

I went towards the open front door and a police officer put her hand on my shoulder.

"Are you An-" I cut her off and walked inside.

"Mom, dad! Why are there so many pol-" I didn't finish my sentence. There was no point. My parents couldn't hear me and I just found out the answer to my question.

I couldn't explain the way I felt. My stomach had a pit in it and it felt like a weight was pulling on it, fighting the force of gravity.

I could feel earlier today's lunch threatening to re appear. My head was dizzy and full of questions and confusion. Who? How? When? Why?. There are no words that could possibly be used to describe how I felt at that very moment. My limbs grew weak and I crumpled to the floor, years spilling out of my eyes and I could taste the salty liquid on my lips and it staining my face.

My parents were dead.
