Chapter 6: Day Out

As I look around I see Katy suited up in a neon-lined black vest. She is posing in the mirror with her laser gun. She notices me through the mirror and turns around shooting a laser on my forehead: "Boom headshot!" I act like I got shot but accidentally fall off the bench. "Oh my God, Miuna are you okay?!", says Katy concerned as she helps me up. I rub over the shoulder I fell on: "Ya... It's just that I don't know how I got here... Is this some special laser gaming bus or something?!!" "Um...", Katy looks the other way as if she is going to give me the bad news: "Well actually... After I told you that we were going laser gaming, you kind of froze... And we had to carry you all the way here, hihi" I put my hand on my forehead and looks regretting and the ground. Ugh... I can already picture myself getting carried by one of them like I'm one of their little sisters... Then a door opens and a lot of smokes comes into the room. In the smoke, you can see neon lines making some kind of stickman. As the smoke starts to clear up a bit I see black long hair waving in the wind. A super hot soldier stands before me pointing one gun at Katy and the other one crossed over her arm at me. She shoots at our vests and only Katy's neon lights turn red making a beeping sound. 

"Ah come on... You can't even dual wield, lame!", says Mizuki as hands me one of her guns. "Why did you shoot me?!!", screams Katy madly. Mizuki smiles smugly: "You should have dodged it, but don't worry the game hasn't started yet so it won't count as a point" Katy turns around with her arms crossed and hmpfs: "It better not!" The worker clicks the guns wire into my vest's slot: "Okay this should be good, look closely." He holds the gun with his hands on the trigger: "If you pull this trigger, a laser will shoot out. This laser only appears for 0.2 seconds and then the things that you want to hit are the neon lines on your enemy's gun and vest. Every vest shot counts as a point but when a gun gets shot it won't be able to shoot for 30 seconds" "Oh I see", I grab the gun out of his hands and walk up to Mizuki and Katy: "I'm ready to go girls" "Finally", says Mizuki relieved: "Let's go kick some ass!!" Mizuki runs at a door with a sign stating 'entrance'. But Katy grabs her by her arm: "Wait!" Katy quickly walks over to the worker and hands him her phone: "Would you be so kind as to take a photo of us?" The guy nods: "No problem" The three of us stand ready to pose. Mizuki lies down like a sniper as Katy couches down next to her aiming at the other direction. I stand behind them and aim at the camera. "Ready, 3, 2, 1, go" Just as the guy takes a picture I pull the trigger giving the picture a red glow around us.

"Can we go now..", says Miuna as she is impatiently stamping on the ground with her foot. "We are going already..", Katy takes her phone back from the guy and smiles at him: "Thank you for everything" The guy tries to stay calm: "N-n-no p-problem.." Katy giggles a little as she joins Mizuki and me at the entrance. Mizuki leans against the door and looks at us with a serious expression: "When I kick this door open it will all begin.." The guy says: "Please don't kick it open", but Mizuki just ignores him. Katy and I nod saying: "Yes ma'am!" "On a count of 3! 1, 2", Mizuki gets off the door and kicks it right open: "1! Let's get them!!" Mizuki runs straight ahead letting out a warcry: "You're all going to die!!" As Katy and I follow 3 steps behind her.

As we reach a wall Mizuki rolls sideways hiding behind what looks like a crashed car. As Katy and I sit down beside her, Mizuki checks on the screen of her gun: "Oh damn I already got 3 kills! These losers freaking suck!" As Katy looks around the corner for spies I get my first good look at the area. Of course, everything was dark and black, but there were coloured lights flashing and beaming around the room. It gave me the feeling that we were in some apocalyptic world. Then I suddenly hear Katy pull the trigger followed by the beams beep. Katy hides back behind the corner: "Yes I got one!" "Good job Katy!", says Mizuki as she lays down in the same sniper pose of before: "Let me just..." She pulls the trigger and somewhere in the distance I hear the beeping sound of someone getting shot. "That's 4!", Mizuki jumps up in the air: "We aren't even playing for a minute and I already got 4 kills!" "Wow Mizuki you got twice as much as I've gotten", says Katy as she once again checks the corner: "How many did you kill Miuna?", says Katy as she looks wondering at me. I look at my gun and it has a red 1 on display: "I got one ki-" But then I remember that I haven't pulled the trigger even once since we entered the room. I've just been running with my eyes closed after them. Then I look at the tiny word that stands next to the 1 and sighs: "I got killed once..."
