I decided to run as fast as I can to reach our room as soon as possible. I have no plans to linger around and waste more time.

Yeah, some random guy talks rudely to the principal, who cares? Well, I know it's not quite right. But I don't care, really.

"Hey!" I heard someone shouted over behind me. I looked back and saw the Garrison guy jogging towards me. I slowed down.

"What?" I asked, annoyed. This better be important. I still have a class to attend to, you know!

"Whoa, down there, missy. I just wanted to ask. Why are you eavesdropping a while ago?" He said so straightforwardly.

"Excuse me?" I couldn't believe my ears.

Is he accusing me of eavesdropping?! Like hello! It's not my freaking fault I accidentally heard their conversation. Hey, don't look at me like that!

"Who are you? Why are you spying on me?" He raised an eyebrow. Gods, am I really hearing these things?!

"That's supposed to be my line, jerk! Who are you? Who do you think you are to even have the guts to talk to me?" And spying him? Excuse him!

"Well, you must be thankful I even managed to give any attention to you at all." I really want to erase that smug look on his face! How arrogant!

"You know what, I didn't bother you for a single moment after that incident in the principal's office. So please leave me alone." This guy is wearing off my patience.

"I have to go for now." He said dismissively. "But I'm telling you, we're not done yet."

For goodness' sake! For the second time today, I've faced another threat. Like seriously? They really think they got me running over for even a second there?

Fine. I decided to give this guy a taste of my ghastly side.

I stepped a bit closer and made sure he can see my face clearly. "You know what, I'm getting suspicious of you, Garrison. You don't seem like an ordinary guy. Who are you, really?"

I looked him straight in the eyes, meaning to threaten him. But it's actually kinda challenging. He don't seem like the type who will get threatened that easily. And his eyes are too intense, I can't quite contain.

He gave me a venomous glare that says I'll be in trouble anytime now if I won't shut my mouth. "None of your business."

Then he walked away without further ado.

What a jerk! He's so full of himself! I decided right away that I don't like him. Everything about him screams trouble.

But something's bothering me.

I've been wondering for a while. That Garrison guy doesn't look familiar to me. I honestly don't see him before in any of my classes. And though he isn't my classmate, I should have seen him around the campus at least, right? I know that Almandine Academy is quite big, but still. Well, I don't really care. He's right about one thing, it's none of my business anyway.
