I almost choked on my coffee when I heard the devil's voice. Seriously? IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME RIGHT NOW? I don't freaking wanna die yet!

"W-What the hell do you want?" I was caught off guard! Damn this trepidation!

Levi Garrison grabbed my arm and leaned in closer, his dark eyes boring into me. "You know exactly what I want."

"What the hell are you talking about?" I tried to sound as casual as possible. I'm totally not prepared for this!

He is wearing a gray fitted shirt beneath his black leather jacket. His get up totally matches his ebony black hair and dark brown eyes. And he's too close, you know! I can perfectly see the contours of his face. Those eyes seem to swallow me.

"Don't play dumb, Maine! I know it was you on the rooftop yesterday!" He hissed under his breath, his words full of malevolence. Oh no.

"I don't freaking have an idea what you're talking about, jerk! And will you please stop grabbing me just like that?!" I jerked my arm away from his grip. "We're not even close!"

"And I haven't forgotten yet the moment you spilled sand on my face." His expression is grim. "Some of the fvcking grains even got to my eyes."

Oops. "Hell, you're talking nonsense, brute!"

"You listen, woman." The color of his eyes turned a darker shade of brown. "You don't mess up with me. If something comes out of that stupid mouth of yours, I swear you'll regret it."

His words sent chills through my body. Suddenly, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. That moment, I realized there's no escape from this abhorrently gorgeous creature in front of me.

"You're such a rude jerk! You won't-----can't scare me with empty threats!" I hope I was able to hide the fright in my voice. But I don't think so.

"Empty threats, you say?" His aura suddenly turned even darker. He laughed without humor.

"Will you please just get out of my face?!" Wow! I suddenly felt so proud I didn't stutter this time.

"Dakota Maine." I froze. The way he said my name gave me the creeps all over my body. Wait?!

"How.. How did you.." My voice trailed off.

"18 years of age. Birthday, August 29. Address, 237 Cadillac Avenue, New York City. Father, deceased. Mother, CEO of Maine Group Of Companies." He smirked. My jaw dropped in horror. How did he.. Oh no. Oh no no no no no. Of course, he would know.. Bad people know everything.. OH NO!

"You asshole! How dare you stalk me like that?!" I guess the wrong word came out of my mouth again.

He seemed amused. This guy sure has some serious temperamental issues. "Dakota Maine, you're an interesting person."

"Don't say my name. You don't deserve it." I snapped at him. I don't know where I got this newfound courage but I'm glad I have it now.

"Anyway, I have to go now. But don't forget what I said. I mean every bit of it." He gave me a menacing smile and walked gracefully out of the cafeteria.
