"Who wants to jump first?"
The boy's looked at each other and then down again.
The next day came pretty fast, now we are standing here and looking down the cliff.
Everyone spit down, apparently they do an competition who jumps first."HA! I WON!", Richie suddenly said and grinned.
"What?! Did you see mine?", Eddie protested and glared at Richie.
"The competition was, whoever spit the most furthest wins!", Richie said as a matter of an fact and started an argument with Eddie.
I rolled my eyes and turned around as I heard someone coming up to us. It is Beverly and she has...short hair? I looked at her hair and smiled as she came to me.
We hugged each other.
"What happen to your hair?", I asked and touched her locks.
"Long Story", she said and ruffled through her hair.
I nodded and faced the boys again.
"What's up with them?", Beverly asked me and laughed as she watched Eddie and Richie arguing.
"They don't dare to jump down the cliff", I said laughing and Beverly joined in.
"Let's show the boys how to jump down the cliff, since they don't know how to", Beverly said between giggles and took my hand.
I laughed even more as we ran pass the boys and jumped down.
The warmth on my body didn't last long, so I took a deep breath until I hit the cool water and a loud *splash* was heard.
I swam up again and laughed together with Beverly.
We looked up to the boys who stared at us, but they didn't jump.
"Common Boys!", I yelled and swam a bit around until I heard more *splash* sounds. The Boys finally jumped.
I swam back to them and smiled as they came up from the crystal water.
We all laughed and began to splash each other with water into our faces.
After some while, Richie talked with me a bit, but I can't seem to concentrate on his words because I was focused on Bill and Beverly who were a little left out.
Bill looked at Beverly the whole time and as she looked at him, he looked away again.
I feel a little sadden, I thought that he liked me. Maybe I'm just overreacting or some sort of.
I swam back to the shore and decided to sunbath.
Beverly came up to me from the water and smiled down at me.
"Can I join?", she asked me, I gestured her to lay down next to me, which she gladly did.
After some time, the Boys joined us and sat down on the rocks nearby.
They were watching us as we closed our eyes and listened to the music which was played by the radio next to us.
I turned to them and rolled my eyes as they all looked awkwardly away.
Beverly smirked and so did I as we looked at each other."Newsflash Ben! We don't have school anymore!" Richie suddenly said and looked through Ben's backpack.
He pulled a Postcard out of it and turned it, so he could read what it said."Give it back", Ben muttered and took it out of his hands.
Richie smirked at Ben and then looked into his backpack again.
He pulled out some reports from missing children and about some sort of massacre."It's crazy, I've read that the most children disappear here in Derry than in other cities" Ben said clearly interested.
"Hey show me", Beverly said as she got up and walked to Bill.
She sat down next to him and read the article.
Bill couldn't concentrate to read the article, he was focused on her hair. I grew jealous a bit and chewed on my bottom lip."Y-Y-Your Hair" Bill stuttered out and got lost in his own words as she looked him in his eyes.
"Your Hair looks really beautiful Beverly", Ben said and smiled at her.
Beverly pulled her Hair back and lightly smiled at the compliment."Oh...thanks", she said and looked at Ben.
Bill looked at Ben awkwardly and then down to the article again.
"Can I have it?" Richie asked Bill and grabbed the portfolio.Ben told us all a bit more about what he has read in all these newspapers and Books.
After some time Ben said that we should go to his Home, so he can tell us more and we all joined in.
