Naruto Uzumaki

Now i'm walking down the street looking for a good place to eat. Hmmmm what am i in the mood for? I was think Romen but nowwww, I don't know, i could have some barbeque, or some Dango, or.... Sushi? Maybe some... Oh i know i'll have some katsudon!

I was so lost in thought that i didn't see where i was going and of course i bumped into something. And fell on my butt. I looked up and saw a short blond boy about my age, in a orange and blue jumpsuit. "Oh my gosh i'm so sorry are you all right dattebayo?" he said. Offering me his hand to stand up. After i was standing i looked him up and down. He was skinny and a bit pale, but other than that i would say that i was a handsome little boy, not in the attractive kind of way but in the little brother kind of a way.

"Ya know kid. First off i was the one who bumped into you so i should be the one saying say sorry, and second off you need to eat kid. You look far to skinny and bony for a growing boy. Now my name is Rin Sinju, and i am truly sorry for bumping into you. What is your name?" The blond kid was just standing there looking at me like I had three heads. "Well?" i said starting to get impatient.

"O-oh yeah my names Naruto Uzumaki, and i'm going to be Hokage one day dattebayo!" he said, well more like screamed.

"Ummmm, dude are you a bit socially awkward?" i asked looking at him.

"Socially awkward? What's that dattebayo?" he asked in confusion.

"Never mind dude. Well i'm new to town wanna show me around?" i asked looking at him. Instantly his face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.

"Yeah dattebayo!!" he yelled.

"Wait. Before we go on our little tour thing ya wanna go and get some katsudon?" i asked as my stomach growled.

"Yeah dattebayo!!" he yelled, yet again. Man i really need to teach this kid some self-restraint or at least how to use his inside voice, "Come on this way!" he yelled and started to drag me in a random direction.

"You know kid you a little weird, and a little opaque when it comes to strangers." i said following him.

"Ummmm. Well i don't know what opaque means, but i'm just happy your being nice to me dattebayo!"

"Why wouldn't i be nice to you?"

"Well you see no one in the village likes me. They call me mean things like monster, demon, and their always telling me that i should never have been born..." Naruto seemed done by this and his once beautiful and almost unobstructed from anything, was gone and he was looking at the ground with sad melancholic eyes.

"Melancholy." i said.

"What?" Now he was looking at me with a confused face. His once sad face was lost and forgotten about. "Whats Melon-colleague?"

"Its pronounced ('melənˌkälē') or Melancholy. Its spelled M.E.L.A.N.C.H.O.L.Y." i said in an unemotional manner, "It's a noun, the definition of melancholy is 'a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause.' Melancholy is going to be your new word of the day. I want you to use it in a sentence at least 8 times today." i finished looking at him, but now he look even way more confused then before. "I have decided that we are going to be friends, and that i well slowly expand your vocabulary by giving you a word of the day every single day." I said looking at a strange spot in the sky. Someones watching us. 

"Wait?!" Naruto yelled from behind, oh i guess he stopped walking and i didn't notice.

"What?" i asked looking behind me at Naruto's face. I could see a variety of different emotions swirl around inside of him. This kids not very good at hiding what he's feeling.

"You mean we're going to be friends and we're going to see each other every day?" He asked, no he was pleading.

"Of course Naruto. Ya see i'm going to be living here for hopefully the next few years and i think you would make a great friend." i said smiling at the boy.
