Rose Garden I

Chaeyoung's POV

I was in the Rose Garden enjoying my afternoon tea when I saw Jisoo and Jennie walking towards me. We were so busy with our own activities that we didn't get to see each other that much. Breakfast was the only time we got to see each other.

"It's about time. I thought you don't care about me anymore." I told them.

"Life happens, Chaeyoung. Don't be dramatic." Jennie said while rolling her eyes.

"Where is Lisa?" I asked them. They took their seats in front of me.

Before they can answer me, we saw Lisa running around with our maids behind her. They were rolling a cart full of food and drinks.

"I'm bringing foods and drinks!" She yelled at us.

"Please tell me it wasn't you who makes all the food." Jisoo protests.

"Lisa, you don't have to be so loud," Jennie said.

I didn't know that I miss them so much until this moment. It's not that we don't close anymore but we craved something else from our life. We grew older and like Jennie said life happens. We have different interests in our life. Our priority has changed as we grew older but we made sure that we had times to see each other.

Lisa took her place beside me and we started to drink or eat the munchies.

"Do you find anyone interesting, Chaeyoung?" Jisoo opened the conversation.

"There are only two people here," I answered Jisoo after I took a sip of my tea.

"Fine. Let me ask once again. Does anyone find anyone interesting?" Jisoo asked once again.

"Lisa found someone interesting." Jennie blurts out. My eyebrow lifted.

Lisa who was about to eat her cookie stopped her cookie mid-air. "What are you talking about, Jennie unnie?"

"I saw him," Jennie said again.

I saw Lisa's face turned white. I'm sure Jisoo and Jennie were not going to miss the change of her facial expression. "What did you saw?"

"I saw him, Lisa. I saw him coming out of your room." Jennie said calmly.

We saw Lisa's face. She went from going pale to horrified in a second.

"Who? Hoseok oppa?" I said to save Lisa from going insane. I saw it happen for a long time. She must be afraid that we caught her with Hoseok. She shouldn't.

"What?" Jennie was actually surprised when I said that. "No, it wasn't Hoseok oppa. I saw Sergeant Jungkook coming out of Lisa's room early in the morning. Wait, why do you think it was Hoseok oppa?"

"Isn't he the one with Lisa? I often saw him come to the library in the middle of the night and then I saw Lisa going inside the library not long after him. They were there for hours. I was in the room across the library. I always read in that room because I love to see this garden when I read. I find it comfortable for me. That's also the reason why I told everyone to not go to the library at night."

All of our eyes went to Lisa. Lisa grabs her cup and drinks her tea. I can see her hands are shaking.

"What are you doing with Hoseok in Library? For hours?" Jisoo asked.

"Let me explain," Lisa said. Her face is still pale from the revelation.

"If I already know you are with Hoseok behind our back. I wouldn't have to push Hoseok to say something about his feeling to you. I thought he was just admiring you from far without having the guts to tell you that he is falling in love with you." Jisoo said to Lisa.
