Chapter 3: Bittersweet Birthday

We was all talking at the home bar, I was beside Faith and Violet and mother was at the end.
"It does seem weird doesn't it?" "Becoming a teenager." Violet said
I turned to her and replied, "I guess."
Faith and mother got up to give each other a hug, Faith just told her she got a job at the local hospital. All of a sudden I hear Faith screaming, the room falls silent, only thing you could hear was crying. I got up from my seat and saw her, mum... she was sprawled on the floor and had barely any colour left in her. I run to her body shaking it and shaking it, I told her that I loved her and I heard her take her very last breath. She was gone...
I screamed and whaled, wishing this wouldn't happen, in the corner of my eye I see Emma comforting Violet and Kaiden comforting Faith, I felt alone. I held her body until I felt another hand on my shoulder. This time it wasn't a ghost but in fact it was Max. I just looked at him and blinked back my tears. I threw myself on him and let it all out... How can one persons life be so happy one minute, and then so sad.
