a time where we dread

to seem understood

to be misunderstood

to take what is for them

but to not be one of them

to discriminate

or to to eradicate

to judge as though you were almighty

but you are colorless

you our unconditional

you seed on to where you should not

but here we are almighty

we are belittled and you stand oppressed

you hate Martin Luther King

because he took away your steed

but here we are united as one but

those who still exist

expect us to not be impressed

but here we are you so called mighty

we walk the same walk

we talk the same talk

we drive the same drive

we are equals and if you disagree

that is your illness

but not mine

i am strong

and i am colored
