The party started at full swing. Tequila was chugged, weed was smoked, and the laughter with blasting music caused a roller coaster of fun. Dancing couples crowded the living room.
This party was wild from the start. Crazy how the lights shifted fast. I took a Jello shot. I practically new everyone in the party. All of these people, beings of the otherworld. All of them go to the same parties as me.
Except one guy. Brown curly hair, bright green eyes and a pale complexion. He stood straight and held his head high. He looked like he was sniffing the air, a smile on his face.
I should have noticed. But the alcohol in that Jello shot kicked in. Hello flirty Helios.
The guy, oh god hoooot guy, turned and looked around. Our eyes locked and I froze. Red ringed eyes. Red isnt good. Red means new Vampire. Red means uncontrollable hunger and thirst.
He sauntered forward. Looks like he got a prey in mind. Some other kid bumped into him, the ridiculously hot guy, bent down and bit into their neck. Oh god their scream! Turns out this kid didnt listen in class.
He bit harder, blood splattering around. Thats when my body unfroze and made me shoot forward. I jumped over the kitchen counter, shattering some beers. The screams started.
The idiots bolted to the door. Its locked. Keys unlock it but do the drunken food realize that? Nope.
I bolted upstairs. My foot got grabbed and I slammed into the stairs. I rolled over and kicked at my attacker. The poor kid, the one the hot guy attacked; dodged my kick. How did he awaken that fast?
The kid, I realize now its a girl... Keller. Keller was a Cheerleader, pretty blond hair, bright blue eyes. She was the ideal girl for straigh guys. Snarled me, biting down on my calf. I released a scream. I kicked at her again, getting her face, she let go.
I made my way upstairs with a limp, moving as fast as I could. I could hear the screams as people scattered. I entered a living room and locked the door. A small room, with a window, a bed, and a nightstand.
