Day To Day

How Mornings Are

Today is like any other day where the sun rises from the horizon and lights up the earth bellow. Many people wake up now to go to school, work or just to another day for them. We find our story in the city of Zadash, this is where the Mighty Nein live.

The sound of a car honking as passes by is faint in the slightly messy apartment, noodle cups and soda/beer cans are thrown through out the place. There is a pizza box from last night still on the table with a couple of peices of cold pizza inside. Down one of the hallways we find a slightly open door, and inside we find a pile of blankets, bedsheets and pillows in the corner; underneath is a blowup mattress. But on the top of the mass of comfort is the small goblin girl Nott, she sleeps in a big baggy, black hoodie and baggy sweat pants.

This is where Nott sleeps, a slightly empty room with only cans and her bed pile. The sun hits her face and she rolls over in an attempt to get more sleep, but that fails when she hears the sound thumping and keys clinging together. She knows that Caleb is leaving for work now.

Caleb slips on his shoes and grabs his bag and his keys. As soon as he slips his keys back into his bag he hears the sound of small foot steps behind him, he turns around to see his room mate wrapped up in a blanket with a groggy face. This was the daily routine she never missed a day where she sends off Caleb with a "bye and have good day". Nott rubs the sleep out of her eyes " Have good day at work" She yawns in between sentences "don't you get off early on Sundays?" Nott asked as she was still rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Caleb bends down and pats Nott's head "ja, so I'll be back before noon to help Jester with the unpacking" Nott hums in delight.

Jester had been an online friend with Fjord, and he soon introduced her to Beau then to Nott and Caleb then Molly and Caduceus. Jester lived in Nicdranus and didn't have many friends, so she went online and then she met Fjord. After a few months she came to Zadash to visit, she immediately bonded with Nott and Beau. She even stayed with Beau the few days she visited. When she went home after her stay she asked her mom if she could move to Zadash, her mom agreed with love and support and helped her look for an apartment.

Now that Caleb had left, and Nott still feeling the consequences of last night's internet escapade she goes back to sleep. She tucks herself into the monstrous pile of blankets and slips off to sleep.
