Imprisonment Part 5 ~ How to win the heart of Kane

Allen woke up first so he reached over Kane to grab his phone. Kane grabbed Allen's wrist and stopped him as he looks at Allen with an annoyed expression. Allen froze and nervously smiled at Kane as he chuckled softly. Kane rolls his eyes as he pulls Allen down beside him and cuddles him. "Go back to sleep," He says as he begins to fall back asleep. Allen then got a bright idea 'I should write a list of the things I think he likes and then ask him.' After Kane got up Allen gave him a sheet of paper. It read:

~HOW TO WIN THE HEART OF KANE~

1) Hates getting out of bed in the morning so don't wake him up

2) let him secretly love Yuki and hate Allen with a burning passion

3) Take him home and far away from Allen

4) Deal with his anger issues and that he wants his way all the time

Allen showed Kane the list and Kane balled it up and threw it away getting out a new piece of paper. He began to write on the paper. After he finished he had 2 pieces of paper with the title "HOW TO WIN THE HEART OF KANE" I looked at him then at the list as he gave it to me. He then got up and left with a sigh of annoyance. I began to read the paper it read:

HOW TO WIN THE HEART OF KANE

1) Don't wake me up early, instead cuddle me while I sleep

2) Leave me be when I try to figure out my feelings and don't make assumptions

3) Let me stay here with Allen so I can aggravate the hell out of him

4) Cope with my anger issues and tell me if I'm being mean or too bossy

5) I love when people show affection out of nowhere

6) I hate when people lie to me

7) I hate when people do things behind my back

8) Soothe me when I'm angry or upset

Then Allen looked on the other page and it was a letter addressed to him. He began to read it.

Dear Allen,

I want you to know that I don't hate you. I actually envy you, you always seem so cheerful and happy. I hope you can forgive me for my aggravating attitude. I don't try to be mean to you. I know you're probably wondering why I wrote it and didn't tell you to your face. That's because I have anxiety and I rarely ever left the house as a kid. I also didn't have many friends. I'm grateful for your kindness and it hurts me to know I was so hateful towards you. I hope you can forgive me.

Allen ran upstairs and saw Kane laying on the bed sleeping. Allen smiled as he laid down beside Kane and nuzzled into his chest. Kane's breathing hitched but quickly reverted back to its slow steady pace as Kane wrapped his arms around Allen and pulled him closer. "You're learning," That was all Kane said before he pulled Allen closer practically pulling him on top of him as he fell back asleep. Allen smiled as he to began to fall asleep wrapped up in Kane's arms.
