It was like any other boring day, she went to school, she hung out with her friends, and went home. Nothing exciting right? Wrong. A new guy starts riding her bus one afternoon and they already met before, she sits with him out of curiosity on why he is now on her bus. "I thought you didn't ride this bus?" She asks while somewhat stating a fact. "I guess I do now." He says in the strong, masculine voice that didn't make her blush before. "I'm sorry, this is gonna sound bad... but what is your name again?" She knows she is turning red when he looks her in the eyes, "My name is Cristor, and yours is Rose." She starts to feel her stomach knot up, 'he remembered...' she thought to herself. They talk more about music and bands the rest of the way to her stop, when it is finally her turn to get off she notices that he looks disappointed... "I'll see you tomorrow morning" she says with a bright smile, he looks reluctant then says "till then." Her heart jumps for joy when she gets off, only to realize she's still in a relationship "shit... I have a boyfriend" she says mostly to herself. When she gets home, her godparents are there waiting just inside the door. She knows what's coming but she refuses to see it that way, she walks in and immediately forced to do chores her 5 older brothers refuse to do. Feeling trapped she knows the only thing that can save her is not here, she calls her boyfriend and they talk about their day and how life is out of school. He knows what her family is like, he's seen it. They talk for a couple hours then when it hits 10:30pm she hangs up and goes to sleep, the next morning the guy isn't there. She thinks nothing of it, because why worry about someone that makes your heart race?
