Francis raced through the village with the sword he had taken from the weapon room in hand. Knights flocked to the gates so it was hard to get through. He tried to push through but couldn't do it. He looked around the area frantically. He growled not seeing any way through but that's when he saw the sword glow in his hand then he started to glow. In a confused panic he went to scream but no sound came out as his vision went white then he closed his eyes making his vision black. He soon after opened his eyes once more to get his barings. He looked around and realized he wasn't in the streets of the Anarchian kingdom foot village. He noticed he was in a dimly lit room with a desk at it's center. The room was a library or a study of some sort due to it's shelves of books everywhere. There was a fireplace with the fire going which was the rooms only light source. Francis approached the table at the center of the room where a single journal sat with a quill and ink pot nearby and various sketches of Mobian anatomy and different clockwork blueprints scattered here and there on the table top. "Welcome to the room of time." Francis jumped and turned to the voice behind him. "Who art thou?" Francis asked before he jumped to conclusions. "I am someone who is yet to be born so as time should have it I reside here. After you pass from this world your great great great grandson will have me. As of now I'm here to give you advice and tell you why you are here." Francis listened to the Mobian before him but for some reason the Mobian was a blur he had no definite form to him. "If thou art only here to inform me than do so and don't be so vague." Francis told the blurry Mobian. "You are what the gods call a time keeper. Three years ago a blacksmith crafted the sword you hold now but it was made using a material that the god of the chaotic kingdom left behind. Chaoticite. It is a material that only gods and their chosen ones are allowed to wield. Special cloth known as Temporium, or simply put as the time gods material, allow anyone to carry but not use Chaoticite blades and armour." The blurred Mobian picked up the book on the table and handed it to Francis. "This book can only be seen by time keepers like you and me the only other people are those you trust with your life." Francis took the book and put it in his satchel. "Can thou tell me one thing?" Francis asked the Mobian before him. "If you are about to ask about the battle taking place just before you appeared here all I can tell you is your Lord, or rather the ancestor of a close friend of mine, King Sanctum went corrupt. He sent out a declaration of war to the Chaos and Sol kingdoms just a few hours before your arrival to take the blade you hold now." Francis looked shocked. "Francis when you return you must not fight. If you fight now you could go corrupt yourself. I want you to run from your kingdom and find Queen Blaze she can help you to learn pyrokinesis which will help you fight without using your sword." Francis nodded. "I may not know thou name but you are family from what thou has told me. I thank thee." The white light took over Francis once more and he was back in a now burning village. He looked upon it all in terror then remembered his father was still at the house outside the village walls. Francis ran through the now open gate through hordes of fighting. His muscles burning and arrows flying by him. He reached the house and found his father. "Father, we must retire to the east of here!" His father was just standing there with his back to Francis. He hadn't move even since Francis arrived. "Father?" Francis then saw the floor at his father's feet had a pool of blood. Francis father fell backwards to reveal the many knives in his torso and one in his head. "FATHER NO!" Francis ran to his father crying and holding him in his arms. "Pity. He didn't even fight." A voice said across the room. Francis stood and turned to face the voice. "Hast thou been the one to turn thy father's blood cold?" Francis said sobbing slightly. A red echidna stood there with a bronze helm upon his head. "Yes, but do not fret I won't kill you. Your father had this coming for shooting my comrade dead with a flaming arrow." The echidna went for the door. He had stood in the doorway and looked down slowly with wide eyes. Francis had shoved his father's sword through the echidnas back and out his chest. "Thou killed my father in blood so cold! So thy father's blade will kill the murderer from the grave using my hand!" Francis let the echidna fall. He walked out and grabbed his father's horse and saddled on it's back. "To the east noble steed of the now slain brave man." The horse took off making Francis leave everything he knew behind.
