Things had gone smooth since they had awoken and left the clearing. The four raptors had found a cool stream to get a drink,and had found some meaty bones near a almost cleaned corpse.
"Hey Redtail" asked Sandtail as she trotted up to him.
"Yes Sandtail?" Replied Redtail.
"How do you know whats going to be at the mountain when we get there?" She asked curiously
"Well im not quite sure,i just have a good feeling."
Sandtail frowned,"What if it isnt good there?"
Redtail Reassured her "I know it will be a good home,i promise Sandtail."
Redtail sighed, "I sure hope it was worth leaving our home for this,4 little barely fledglings on their own. Going where? Im not even sure myself."
Sandtail had joined walking with Cederwing,while Bluewing followed the group close behind. Redtail grinned,glad that his packmates were becoming friends,something that rarely happened at home. He frowned at the thought of his home,so bland he thought. Nobody really cared for one another,sure they fed and hunted for the pack,but it wasn't real. Remember how nobody had even noticed his absence in the nursery made his stomach churn,would they have noticed if i was killed? how long would it take? Do they even realize we are gone? Redtail decided they must have considering they had been missing for a few days now,at least someone had to notice..right?
