Accidental Fate in Seoul

Chapter 1

It was a sunny day in Seoul and I was very excited to spend the day touring this amazing city I only saw on the kdrama's I binge watch when I have nothing to do.

I planned this solo trip for a long time. Saved money to book a flight, booked my simple but homey Airbnb and prepared well for the visa interview.

"Now where should I go first?" I asked myself.

I decided to take the train and search for the famous restaurant I read online. "They said this restaurant has the best samgyupsal," I said while checking the map to know where I am supposed to go.

I was absentmindedly checking the map while crossing the street, I glanced and to my horror, I saw a black van coming at me fast. I tried to run, but I just can't move.

The last thing I remember was a loud sound of my head hitting the pavement followed by a guy asking me if I am okay. My vision turned black before I can even answer.

I woke up with a bad ringing in my head. I looked around to see that I am inside the van and 8 worried faces were looking at me. I know these faces. I can't be mistaken because their faces are all over my homeland and Seoul.

"Uh. Hello?" I whispered.

Everyone's faces looked relieved as soon as I spoke.

"Oh thank God you are awake! My name is Sejin. We are on our way to the hospital now to have you checked, I am so sorry, the driver didn't see you cross the street and we almost hit you" the manager explained.

"I wasn't hit? why does my head hurt?" I asked.

"Oh, you fainted, maybe because of shock." Kim Namjoon explained.

I hope they don't notice how I am blushing so much. Why? First, because I heard Kim Namjoon speak. Second, I feel so stupid because I did this to myself.

Don't get me wrong. I am not a fan of BTS. Yes, I heard about them. Yes, I listened to their song because my friend who is an ARMY blackmailed me to do it and Yes, I know they are a big deal.

But I am a Kdrama fan and my bias is Lee Dong Wook! I learned Korean after I watched My Girl and decided that I would need to learn the language and not rely on subtitles so I can focus on his beautiful face.

For some time I was waiting for them to say their introduction line and tell me their names in the order of the fan chant my friend always shout at me. That would be interesting right?

"What is your name?" Namjoon asked while giving me the ice pack for my head.

"Audrina" I answered.

My friend will kill to be in this situation for sure, but for me I, am just thinking about my aching head, a possibly broken arm and that amazing samgyupsal I was craving. Yes, they all look handsome and they smell nice, but I just can't appreciate it when my tummy is protesting and craving those grilled pork.

My thoughts was interrupted by the leader "Sejin hyung, do you think it's wise for us to take her to the hospital? Don't you think someone will see us and the media will know?"

The manager realized that he is correct.

"Let's take her to the office, we have a resident doctor in the clinic who can do the initial check up and then the driver can bring her to the hospital if further action is needed," he said.

They are talking as if I am not here which I do not like. "Excuse me? Do I have a say about this?" I am here on a short vacation and you guys are wasting one day".

"Why? What is your plan for today? Sightseeing? Nami Island? A trip to Busan?" Kim Seokjin asked.

"Well.. I planned to eat samgyupsal."

They started laughing.

"She is so cute!" Jimin muttered.

"Noona, you and me both!" Jungkook said while touching his tummy.

And Yoongi was just sitting there, open mouth, staring, judging my life choices.

"Great," I whispered.
