"I am so sorry" a male voice echoed in her ears as her shopping bags went tumbling in all directions.
"No, it's okay" she stated
"Wait let me help you!" the voice continued with a spark of amusement
She looked down to see a strikingly handsome face staring back at her stooping down to collect her belongings.
"There..." he pointed handing her belongings back to her.
"How about a cup of coffee to thank me for my help?" he offered with eyes twinkling with mischief bringing his hand forward!
That was how Alexander the great stepped into her life. After that life was like a fairytale, they got to know each other and she found out he was an army officer while she was an author. Their parents had no objection to them getting married. Life was a bliss!
As all the good things come to an end, her two years of cloud nine ended soon when Zander was sent to a mission far away. Life seemed to be on hold after he left. With infrequent phone calls to light conversations, she just couldn't wait to be back in his arms again.
"Guess who is arriving by the2: 30 pm flight???!" Zander had shouted into the receiver. At last, after 1 year and 6 months, Zander was coming back to her!
