Last for Section 'Midnight'

[Louis, around noon]

Me and Violet appeared from the tree line in front of Ericson.
The gates were of course still broken, so we walked right through.
"You're lucky I found you." Violet says.
"I know."
"You better try to adapt; we're not living in top conditions anymore. There's a lot to do, but the raiders won't come back. At least I hope so."
Mitch walks into the area.
"Violet! You found him?"
"He was being held at gunpoint by the raiders. I got him out of the mess."
"Fuck! They'll try to find the rest of us if they know we're alive."

"What would you have done?! Left him there to be imprisoned? We lost so many people, we can't loose anymore!" She shouts.
"Chill out, I wasn't suggesting that." Mitch says.
"Right. First things first - we need to know where is safe and where is not. But we have no safe zone. This forest is ours, our job is to protect it. We need to get into that greenhouse." She points towards the greenhouse, behind the wall.

"That's craz—"
"I don't care what it is, we need to do it." She interrupts Will, who had come with Ruby.
"Let's send Louis. Send in the one we don't mind losing." Mitch hisses.
"That's an ugly thing to say!" Ruby scolds.
"Stop talking!"
Everyone goes silent.
"Ruby, Louis and Mitch, you go into the greenhouse. Find herbs, and there should be barbed wire." Violet tells them, "I'm going to reorder Marlon's rules and make them worthy of following. Will, you be a lookout. I'm in Marlon's office, if you see anything." And with that, she walks away, leaving us to our tasks. Will walks towards the lookout tower while me and the remaining walk towards the greenhouse.

[Clem, Noon]

I swear in frustration.
"Your friend doesn't seem to be coming." James comments.
"What if he came last night?" I ask.
"Well, that's unfortunate. Tell you what, where would he go after not finding you?"
"The boarding school." I answer.
"And where's that?"
"Straight in that direction." I point at where I remember the boarding school to be.

"I can't take you, but I can go myself, collect him. Here, I'll take you to my camp, and if any walkers pop up, throw one of the rocks at a nearby tree." He helps me up, and once more, we walk to his camp.

[Louis, around noon]

We nervously walked up to the greenhouse door. I clutched chairles, which I had left behind in my own room, and tried to open the door. I let out a sigh of relief when it didn't budge.
"Oh well, I guess we're not—"
"Shut up. There had to be another way in."
Mitch tried to look through the greenhouse wall, but it's thick and glossy, and we can't see anything.
"Smash open the wall." He says.

"Are you kidding? No way!" I say.
"Do it! We need to get in there somehow." I sigh. Maybe I can hit the wall like Clem hit the walker. I raise Chairles over my shoulder and swing it in a massive arc. The wall cracks upon impact, and a loud thud awakens the walkers inside. Their growls are loud even through the thick glass. I prepare to strike. And when I hit it with all my strength the wall shatters and the walkers launch towards me. I swing chairles but I'm too slow, and the walker tackles me. It's about to chomp down when Mitch kicks it of of me. I pick up Chairles and smash the thing's head in. More come out, and Mitch kicks them over while I crush them.

When we're done, Ruby and Mitch enter the Greenhouse, but I notice something in the corner of my eye.
A figure is standing on top of the roof watching us. The moment I look at them, they disappear. Are we being stalked?

A/N:
This was a bit of a sloppy chapter, but I only now just realised that I completely deleted poor Tenn 😂 There's just too many characters for a two year old like me to keep up with.
