Prologue

She closed her eyes and ran as fast as her feet can take her. Adrenaline was pushing her body further. She can't help but bear the pain that shot through her at every step. It took every bit of her to not to give away and wait for death to come and devour her. She closed her eyes and imagined herself in her cozy bed next to her sister. That made her smile. 

The closest thing to bed she has felt in what feels like years was moss. Another howl from behind and she was pulled out of her stance. The pain was turning unbearable. One more step further and she fell down. 

Blood was all she can see. No it was water, just red by her own blood. She was too tired to swim. No matter how hard she tried, her body refused to move. Even if she got out, she had close to no chance surviving this. This was the end.

She closed her eyes and smiled. "Sorry sis" she whispered. Water muffled her words, washing away her tears while she drifted off to a sleep for eternity.
