Hi! I'm Hyun Ryu or as my friends call me, Zen! I'm just your average 20 year old living in Daegeum-do province, Busan, South Korea. Well, average for a Daegeumian. For the most part at least. Like most Daegeumians, I look like your stereotypical Korean. Other than my handsomeness that catches everyone's eyes. (Hehe) I guess the things that would be different about me is the fact that I work for what's called a transfer company and the fact that I have inherited abilities and talents that other people don't have.
Let me tell you a little bit about what I do for a living. As I said, I work for a transfer company; and a transfer company is basically a company that helps people that are interested in being in the entertainment industry follow their dreams. Transfer companies have different branches in different countries and cities all over the world.
The branch I work in is technically the highest branch in the TCo (short for Transfer company) industry. It's also the branch that has the tightest bond among its employees. That being said, I guess I should tell you a little bit about the branch I work in. The branch itself is called Geumgaji (금 가지) or Gold Branch. The reason behind why we are called the 'Gold Branch' is the way we work with each other and the way we handle our jobs. Some people within the TCo building that our branch is stationed in say that we are called Geumgaji is because our wages are more than theirs. But the people who have friends in Geumgaji know for sure that the name 'Gold Branch' doesn't really revolve around the amount we make; but around the atmosphere when one sets foot into Geumgaji.
Although Geumgaji is technically the highest branch of the TCo industry, (the highest branch is the CEO Minho Choi (최민호) ) we aren't the biggest branch employee wise. We are one of the smallest branches employee wise. (I think..) Geumgaji is made up of nine people (Me, Yoosung, Seven, Jaehee, Jumin, Haerin, Nim, Augustus, and Eunji). I've been working in Geumgaji for about five years now and it's only been getting better from the day I first started to work there.
