evan was a normal boy in high school. he wasn't special, he wasn't the smartest but he kept his grades up. he wasn't particularly interesting looking either, he had hair the color of wet tree bark after a storm, freckles and greyish eyes.
he was probably the most average person anyone could meet. he was straight and had a girlfriend and a great group of friends. he went to parties, he drank and smoked, like any teenager his age would have.
-
but the evan everyone else got was different from the evan alone. his normal self was a mess. he was wanted to go back to when he was around issac all the time. he missed him. he knew that it was dick move when he left him for his current group of friends. it had been years since they both talked. how would he approach him? how would he even speak to him? he used to be the type who didn't cry, but now he cried. he cried a lot. some nights he would cry himself to sleep and have to tell his friends that "he got super high" when he woke up to explain his red eyes.
he would see issac in the hallways and pretend that he didn't exist because he didn't know how to confront him. he knew he had changed. the way he acted, dressed, maybe even how he sounded.
he knew he was hurting issac.
he knew he was hurting a lot of people.
